I love how you mention a tight fairway in a funnel of trees on the second hole. In Massachusetts, USA that bad boy looks WIDE open to me! I feel like I’m the UK courses are more forgiving in their OB but less forgiving in actual hazards. Most courses near me are the other way around. Not too many hazards but a forest surrounding every hole.
The contrast between 7 years ago and now is massive. The camera work has improved, editing is nonexistent here, and fashion sense has improved. All the guys slimmer here!

I've been watching your guys' videos for quite some time. Great work gents. I always wondered why, when I first started watching Rick played challenges with Peter because he always seemed to win haha. But I love the fact that over these videos I've noticed the changes in Rick's performance as well as Peters. It's great to watch golfers of your caliber push each other and practice like the rest of us duffers out there. You guys are hilarious!

They should do it, it counts double next hole. If you make a birdie next hole a birdies worth double. If you bogey same.
Michael Quinn i was thinking that a bogey is worth double but a birdie stays the same
It changes things because birdies are generally more difficult to come by than bogeys for most golfers. It would be a good format if you were playing off 7. Not sure it makes a huge difference with these guys though.
Jacob Gustason that would encourage defencive play. Birdies double would encourage aggressive play, ar more entertaining for youtube.

So...if you are just doubling the outcome, regardless of what it is, then how have you changed anything? The person who shoots lowest is still going to win, it's just that the number is going to be lower.
I think the format would be better by not doubling scores higher than par, more incentive to go low

Surely you realised the zooming was heavily out of focus through editing, so why give attitude to a subscriber just for mentioning it?
Rick Shiels Golf not the attitude to have. You're youtube is a business and your content is a product. If you owned a golf pro shop and accidentally broke a club do you sell it anyway because you've already got the stock? If it isn't right don't sell it, if the footage isn't right don't post it. I love your videos and have learnt a lot but the way you have approached this comment doesn't seem right to me.

Rick, I understand you guys are working with a new camera setup and so far I think it's working out great! As for the imbeciles commenting that they will have to unsubscribe due to poor cinematography, well...BYE! Seriously folks, they are GOLFERS not Hollywood directors! Also, this was just a friendly outing between good friends, i.e. they were not too terribly concerned with production quality. Now, if this was a video on instruction or helpful tips then, yes, I would expect a certain level of professionalism with the video quality. But, it wasn't. It was just a video of a few guys having a few laughs and playing some good golf. So, get over it.

james daly we filmed the last two vlogs in two days. We didn't realise the issues until editing

Don't like this format as it's flawed. You can't get an albatros or a triple bogie. I think the format would work better if you just went to the next score i.e birdie becomes an eagle, eagle becomes an albatros etc and the same going the other way. Par is par of course.

PLEASE CHANGE BACK TO OLD CAMERA/LENS SET UP. Gonna have to unsubscribe if every vlog from now on can't be in focus and has issues with zoom and light balance etc. Love the channels - love the content - but these last few blogs have been unbearable

Yeah but it is a new camera, they know its out of focus and will learn how to use it. It's been two rounds.
