This was so informative and helpful, and in perfect timing for me to begin my much heated [though not so much Lol] annual 'NYC vs. Tesla' winter quarreling Olympics haha! 😅 Thanks so much for sharing these super great insights with us!
Glad I could Help!
Wiper service mode! That's a great tip, thanks!
You're Welcome!
If door handle is from then the window is probably frozen also. Before trying to open door remove the bottom ice from window. I did this with a credit card. If you don’t the window will not go down and the window/door will not close properly.
I booked Lucid Gravity giving more premium feel, performance, luxury experience
Thanks for the video
You're Welcome!
GREAT TIPS BOONDOCKS 🧐❄️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Thank you!
Super video, thanks!
I appreciate it!
The preconditioning is only good if you can be plugged in while pre-conditioning. the tire thing is the absolute best tip and keep your speeds low in general. And the windshield wiper thing - idk - my understanding is that the bay where the windshield wipers sit has a surface heater built in that warms up the wipers already
Hi, thanks for those tips. Inreally need these here in Finland. :) last one was new, wish that one was easier to put on.. i allready said that vipers freeze few videos ago, that that is not good..
Wiper service e mode was a game changer for me. It saved me a lot of time after a heavy snow.
You gotta leave it plugged in and precondition at 68,69f for up to and hour to gain full regen and keep your kwh under 280. This is me driving in 15f for 100 miles one way.
I wake up at 5:45, turn on the precondition(heater) then shower and get ready. By the time I leave, around 630, I'm all set! You just unplug and go.
This is the equivelent of heating up your car before you go so it's warm lol
When tesla preconditioning the battery..is not less money spend on SC...is more meney spend...because you waste energy just for charge faster
I disagree with you on the preconditioning. After preconditioning, the cabin is warm but the battery is not at optimal temperature because I still get the symbol on the screen telling me that regenerative braking is degraded due to battery temperature.
Really??? You may want to consider servicing your vehicle.
@ Servicing how? It’s two months old
did you give your battery ample time to warm up?
@Adventures-and-More Well... I would not be privy to how long you have your vehicle in your possession. But, I agree with him as this is how it works with my Model Y all the time. There are many factors that could be degrading (ever so slightly) your battery warming up optimally. This is why I suggested servicing your vehicle. 2 months does not by definition guarantee that everything is working well and may need fixing.
Try preconditioning longer. The cabin gets warm very quickly, but the battery takes longer.
I don’t Chill means what you think. According to the OM, Chill is the distance it keeps from other cars when using FSD.
You might want to re-read the part about acceleration modes, because he's not wrong.
You are confusing FSD chill mode with the chill acceleration mode under driving dynamics which is what the video is describing.
@@philipkoenig9197 I think chill mode limits you acceleration. As long as you're not driving aggressively it doesn't save battery by being on chill mode.
The cheapest thing to Fix on a Tesla is the Air in the Tires
Precondition eats battery though?
Precondition while it's still plugged in at your house.
I preconditioned my Y the other day by hitting defrost on the app. I gave it 20 minutes - I think I lost about 20% battery just to precondition (I wasn't plugged in). Whats more is that I mostly have short commutes, so in terms of efficiency, its probably not worth preconditioning for short trips.
main stream tell a vision tells us we have global warming…..so nothing to do with my Tesla.🤡🌈🥶 (but I have to stay inside….)
'cold weather and Teslas don't exactly mix' only shows that you are ignorant.
