According to the website that thing only has 770 pounds of pulling force. For one quarter of the price of that thing you could mount a 10 ton winch and actually have something usable. No thanks Bud!
You didn't just use a carabiner and WAY underrated climbing rope to winch your 4x4 out before stepping over the line which was under tension and without a winch damper on it did you? Yuh, you did. This is about as bad an example of what not to do in a recovery situation as it gets people. No seriously, it's really, really bad :/
The rope that comes with this winch is static rope designed for the winch, not dynamic climbing rope. Poor form climbing over the rope rather than walking around it.
Umm no. I cringed through this whole thing. Being prepared means you have the right tools. As in a 9500# Warn winch. Proper pulleys if needed. And ZERO caribeners. Spend $1200 and live another day.
this is the worst portable winch i did try ever i super danger to use any savety sistems and there is alot of much beter options in the market for a have price. sory but i have to be onest
