Iron Staff and Defy Nuke Wukong | SP Circuit Almost Levelcap | WARFRAME

  • Almost hit levelcap circuit with Wukong but failed the last round of Defense at stage 15 due to ONE blitz eximus doing an absurd amount of damage to the defense pod.

    Note for this run, i swapped streamline out for Primed Flow and relied on efficiency/energy decrees.

    This Wukong build is a hybrid build for using both iron staff spam and defy to nuke, so you have a few options to deal DPS, both requiring armor strip via Pillage to scale in SP. Iron staff is a little bit weak and requires armor strip, buffs and melee decrees to deal effectively with levelcap enemies. Defy is a nuke that scales with enemy level as it absorbs enemy damage, multiplies it and returns it to enemies, much like Octavia's mallet. In addition to armor strip, Pillage allows full shield gating despite running max efficiency and/or lack of decaying dragon key. Additional tools for survivability include Celestial Stomp which is huge area crowd control that even works on eximus through overguard and acolytes.
    FOCUS SCHOOL: Vazarin for protective dash (optional)
    REQUIRED/PRIORITY DECREES:
    Fortified Will: Defy gives up to 1500 armor, which gives 355% bonus strength allowing full strip pillage in one cast almost regardless of modded strength.
    Envious Economy: Cast ability gives up to 90% chance for next cast to be free. Helps with 1 and 3 spam.
    Bounce Back: Refund 25% of energy on cast, helps with 1 and 3 spam
    Majestic Strike: Melee hits twice
    Vicious Barb: Double critical damage
    Royal Wrath: Each hit increases melee crit chance by 30% for 3s
    Rising Agony: Critical melee hits grant up to 150% crit dmg for 7s
    Dueler's Outburst: On crit, gain up to 90% attack speed for 3s
    Venomous Touch: Every third melee deals 300% toxin dmg and status
    Close Contagion: Spreads incidental viral procs from talons and toxin from Venomous Touch
    Twofold Torment: Doubles toxin status damage from Venomous Touch
    Critical Frost: Crits deal cold damage and cold status.
    Shattering Frost R3: Deal up to 240% dmg with cold status.
    Wrymling's Aid: up to 200% Corrosive damage and status.
    Persistent Attrition: Increases damage vulnerability

    This setup is extremely creative! Kudos for sharing this, now if only the Defense object gets a shield gate or defensive gate of some kind :p

    It's rare to see someone utilize celestial stomp. Funny mini rhino stomp go Brrrrr
    The reason I could think why blitz can still oneshot (or do the thing) is that you must constantly keep up with the cast to chain cc enemies with your stomp, essentially means that you cannot stop down the chain, or they gon be blasting.
    (Or it could possibly be that the slow is weakened, making blitz able to attack, will test this today, but it should be the same from what I see in the video)
    Because celes stomp (defensive) simply contradicts your defy aka dmg absorb (aggressive) playstyle, you are essentially forced into either you do stomp, or all in on defy nuke, there is no in-between.
    Celes stomp functions like a rhino stomp, you actually need a lot of range (over 40m for wide tiles like this), especially when you only have 20m instead of 25m and you need to time your stomp very very very well, since it inherits the stomp property, which means that if an enemy is under stomp effect, any casts during the animation is pretty much cancelled, and you must count the 6s yourself as there is no indicator for that, and immediate cast after 6s is also not going to work too, since enemies are still in that immune phase, you have to wait approximately 1s to command your twin to do that again. (Only for fodders, eximus demo and only cares about that 6s, acos are 3s)
    1:26 you can clearly see that the eximus is already under the effect, and you press 1 for the cc, and immediately he breaks free like you forget to cast stomp, since the cast you just did are pretty much nothing due to the mechanics of stomp.
    But it does cost cheap though. A great cc, but does have some painpoints needed to get around as inheriting the stomp properties without time indicators is very difficult to manage and 6s fixed is quite short for a burst cc, and not much control over whether where you want the stomp to be but either way, a mini stomp is always a great cc to have in your arsenal...Great build nonetheless, very creative setup.
