despite san not being part of the dance line when he debuted, not only is he such an exceptional performer, he's such an amazing dancer now! I'm so glad people appreciate him for his skills because he's always been one of my favorite dancers in ateez
San is a part of the dance line now he is a lead dancer and it was confirmed on KCON japan 2023+Hongjoong said that he will be upset if we don't consider San as a part of the dance line

San's original position is Lead Vocalist (he auditioned as). But he's really that great that always got mistaken as main dancer, even the members acknowledge how San improve soo much than when he just entered without any dance background and he's now one of the best dancer not only in ateez but also in whole kpop industry. Hongjoong and Seonghwa said on live, they will be upset if San didn't call as dancer line. On their latest comeback showcase, FINALLY, KQ introduce San as "Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer and Fan Attracting Fairy".

I love the comment about San “he doesn’t look awkward” because a lot of people don’t like how he performs. But I feel if you are on stage performing , and this is your job that you love, why wouldn’t you always want to give 110%?
And more importantly he conveys the concept perfectly with his performance. That is what required..
There are different ways to be 110 it doesn't have to always be his way.

I don't think it's a matter of a lot of people not liking how he performs. It's really a matter of others being jealous because he gets praised for being an outstanding dancer and performer while their faves don't. It's sad but that how toxic kpop stans are these days.
@@mikimishisa yeah but i always see kpop stans trying to clown him for his performances when it doesn't even make sense since he's genuinely a good performer. i'm not saying everyone has to like the way he performs since it's honestly quite unique in kpop however people acting like he "does too much" in his performances make no sense to me. if anything he's one of the best and most unique performers i've seen in kpop. even though there are a lot of good kpop dancers and performers you won't find any kpop idol who performs the way he does and that's something that should be appreciated imo.

I love how san antis try to say people who say san is one of the best dancers in ateez cant tell the difference between performing and dancing but then you have so many professional dancers say that san is an amazing dancer. Ive seen similar to this video they say san is the best or top 2 dancers. The antis try to hold san to a position that was given over 5 years ago as if people dont constantly change
they always use the term 'overdancing' which is honestly not a thing in the dance world. It's what someone made up in kpop to complain about energy. If you look at dancers performances, they usually ALWAYS dance with such energy. It's not looked down upon
how professional dancers praise san, and kpop juniors and even kpop seniors look at san, not a few also make san as a role model, it only shows the fact that his presence is extraordinary, san I'm very proud of you 💗

San's performances are really something else. Nobody can beat that man, for real. Nobody.
I don’t know if San will ever see this or if he’s aware of all the times professionals or idols praised him but he really deserves it more than anyone else. Like ateez always say, San is hard work and passion. He went from nothing to becoming the best performer in kpop, making a name for himself in the industry months after his debut despite coming from a small company and being part of a still not known group. He literally is the definition of hard work. When the other members were all way ahead of him, 5 out of 8 coming from different agencies/companies so with a solid start while San only knew how to sing and compose songs. And despite that look at him now, not a professional that doesn’t point out how good of a dancer he is.
So yes while all of them are great dancers and in kpop there are so many talented idols, no one deserves these praises more than San. He worked hard to get where he is now and I he deserves to be proud of himself and everything he achieved

San has all my admiration, going from failing a dance assessment as a trainee to becoming one of the most recognized performers of the fourth generation. His hard work has taken him far and his style is quite recognized in Korea and the world
To those who are trying to cast shadows of doubt on San and say he was only a student taught by the other members how to dance during his trainee days, and assuming San really was a non dancer before he became one all because of his teacher-members... this is all I could say:
A good teacher or professor will easily spot the best student in class and ofc give him that recognition for his hard work and commitment. A teacher cannot be insecure to a student that he knows someday will be able to achieve more than him in the future. Isn't it the best accomplishment for a teacher to know that awkward and difficult student he once guided and taught is now the best dancer in his class bc of him? I'm also pretty sure that student achiever will always thank his teacher as he develops his craft on his own.

san had a dance teacher pre-debut tho? he had a teacher and learned a lot from his teacher. but san-yunho-mingi were the closest pre-debut. all the trainees under kq were like rivals but those 3 didn’t care about it and wanted to debut TOGETHER so much. that’s why mingi and yunho helped san. after their training ended, they were always meeting to dance together and help san to improve. that’s such a precious friendship there. i cant believe that people use it to shade san’s hard working now. disgusting behavior from disgusting people

Anyway if it's San's time to shine then so be it and he will continue to prove himself whether they like it or not. When I watch San dancing, I forget everything. He is a wonderful performer, and a perfectionist who works hard. I admire and respect him so much .

I love seeing their take, relatable content! I danced through college and the dance component, that artistry, is a big part of what got me into Kpop and Ateez. I got pulled in by watching Kingdom Legdndsry War recently, am a new Staytiny, but Ateez Bouncy is what really got me sucked in to following current Kpop, now I'm stanning so hard, Ateez is amazing! Also, "commitment to the bit" is something I use all the time, it totally speaks to San's performance ethic, whatever they are doing he DOES THAT 😂😂😂

San is special and so rare in this industry where in my observation only those artists who follow the norm are the ones that are usually recognized by stans. While San himself said he couldn't boast of any background in dance during his high school days, it should be considered he also studied in an art school so he is really inclined towards the medium and most notably had the passion to achieve or even surpass his goals. He has mentioned that what he lacked in his early years he strived to fulfill through hardwork and dedication. And we are witnesses to how he has evolved into an amazing, inspiring, outstanding performer that is very rare nowadays. I wish San all the best in this world. ❤

I love how when professionals are involved, San always gets so many praises like he really is that good. He’s simply the best at everything he does, it’s so rare to find such talented idols nowadays, not only is he the best performer and dancer but he’s also one of the best singers out there. Sad that instead of acknowledging it and be happy for him, this fandom tries to justify professional choices, deny his talent or downgrade him and his achievements. He really deserves better.

Yeah it’s so weird how San’s biggest haters are the Atiny themselves, most non Atinys praise San and like him even when they don’t stan them. Atinys are so weird for treating San like that. I love San so much and it hurts me how he gets treated like that when he works so hard and is improving so much because of his hard work and all he does is give love to atinys. But these jealous fans are trying so hard to make him look bad because they can’t handle that he is the most popular member.

This takes me back to the moments between San and Felix from Stray Kids when they performed Wolf on Kingdom Legendary War. He contorts his body and face in a way that is perfect for the song. That part remains to be one of my favs along with Felix make the jump to Woo’s lap.

san’s official position in the group is the lead vocal, the lead dancer., main performer and face of the group. he was confirmed as the lead dancer by kq this june! (tho according to the members, he’s a main dancer and the best dancer along with yunho)
san’s dance skills are recognized by many dancers and professionals in the industry. many non-fans think he’s a main dancer. he definitely has main dancer techniques. he actually didn’t know how to dance when he joined kq at a point he couldn’t join the other members for the monthly test and cried alone. the members said san was not in the dance line when they debuted but right now he’s a dance line member and is one of the best dancers in the group!
now he makes choreographies, even the killing part of deja vu choreo was made by san! he’s one of the members who memorize the choreography fastest, he’s also one of the members who help the other members a lot!

San comes from a martial arts background. He's a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo...no dance experience until he joined KQ as a trainee. He was originally not going to be debuted with Ateez, because KQ didn't think his dancing was up to the other guys, but he put in the hours & now he's Legendary. His fancams are some of the most viewed. Upcoming idols study him to try & emulate his stage charisma. I really want y'all to watch the M2 performance of Bouncy & one of the concert cams for Cyberpunk. Sorry in advance if you do.

San has been always recognized by professional dancers for his dancing skills... In fact there is no main dancer in ATEEZ because Hongjoong (aka the captain of ATEEZ) told us to not work with those positions anymore because ATEEZ are so good especially in dance and he will be upset if we don't consider San as a part of the dance line so San being the best dancer and performer of the group make sense and I'm happy it's being said by professional dancers :)

Atiny are san antis. It's not new and then they call themselves ot8. That's why I appreciate all of atz but am an atiny anti. Crazy thing is they will then turn around and san was their fan fairy but now they shade him
because two of the subfandoms in atiny fandom hate San since he has overpassed their favs in dancing long ago. They are just a bunch of jealous solo stans.

I'm not in the fandom, I only know some of their title tracks and from the videos i've seen I always thought San was the main dancer. I was shocked to find out he wasn't even considered in the dance line, since Yunho and Wooyoung always the the center parts and dance parts during the performances, but for me it's always been San. San is what every main dancer dreams to be... That's why he is the most picked 4th gen idol as a role model and that's why 90% of professionals consider him a main dancer... He pours his whole soul into dancing, he is so flexible, so groovy, so sharp and he has his own style that make his dance more satisfying to watch... If you put San among 1000 dancers you will recognize him cuz he is unique dancer with his own style.
That's why most of 4th/5th gen idols watch his fancams to learn ATEEZ choreos because he is that main dancer who dance with all his soul with flexibility, sharpeness, grooves while being able to add his own style

Literally every dancer reacting to ATEEZ is amazed by San dancing skills and they called him main dancer because besides his performance and the facial expressions his dance is so unique and memorable and satisfying and I'm happy to see more professionals recognizing his dancing skills :)

As a dancer as well I agree with you picking San because this man's dancing skills are on another level! I agree all of them are amazing dancers for sure and I agree as well that San focus more on performance but as a dancer his dancing skills are one of the best ever and I can't ignore them as a dancer... The way he isolates different part of his body, the way he control his body and the way he is groovy (his grooves didn't show well in Bouncy choreo but in other choreos as Deja vu you will find him very groovy), also the way he uses his dynamics/textures is really impressive and make his dancing so pleasant to watch... He really deserves to be a main dancer fr he could easily outdance half of the Kpop industry... Btw I really loved your analysis and the way you told your opinion respectfully.

Sani my man dancer ❤️❤️❤️ it's really funny atiny always get out of their way to say San doesn't have technique, he's just a performer, someone dances better by atiny graduated at the academy of knowing nothing, when he's been praised since beginning by professionals, and idols choosing him as a model, atiny blame San for their fav not being praised, recognized, popular, anything that San name comes out they want the same for their bias and they sometimes force people to do it, they send hate for people who mention him and don't mention others members, it's ridiculous and it's NOT San's fault he is able to capture people's attention, kq and atiny should use this but they prefere play blind, hide him or make fun of him, I swear when I compare San treatment of his own fandom(and KQ) with other groups it's embarrassing this fandom throws San on the fire for a couple of likes, they not protect him at all, the hate San gets in his own fandom it's becoming apparent for other people/fandoms, atiny are not scared to say hateful things now and only San fans defend him because the majority of the fandom agrees, I've seen other groups stans saying that atiny normalized discret San and it's true it become the norm and you know why? because they don't disagree and it's stressful to fight a whole fandom, new atinys that chooses him as bias already noticed with days in the fd. I'm not Atiny but I often watch San's fancams and Ateez's reaction videos.And I always notice that this fandom says nothing against those who are always discrediting San.San always gives his soul and all of himself when he dances.He even shows that he has the potential and love for krump style.He always gives all 200% on stage.But why is there always someone who says that he is not a good enough dancer?Atiny's why has it become the norm for you to hate him so openly?Is it so difficult for you to admit that San is so talented?You can compliment your bias without being rude towards him.
Exactly, it saddens me how San’s biggest haters are Atiny themselves, they always try to bring him down when non Atinys notice him or praise him, they really hate him when all he does is work his ass off, he wouldn’t have come this far if he didn’t work really hard without a break, like he’s the only member who’s changed so much and improved so much in a very short time and he’s improving every comeback.
The only reason why Atinys hate him is because he is the most popular member and he’s also loved the most among non atinys, so they are jealous and trying to bring him down as much as they can. I’ve even noticed that lately the fans rarely include him in Ateez related videos such as tiktok edits, funny moments and so on.. just because they are afraid that he will be seen by others.
