*It's l0w, sl0w and HEAVY*
We NEED Vildhjarta's new album, I can't wait lol!
Lets sniff da heavy riffs!
@@winstoncarter2119 Yes! Still jam their prior album.
''omg what is... what is that guitar tuned to?"
Hell. It's tuned to hell
Fun fact:
Buster is the actual drummer of Vildhjarta and the guitarist of HLB, he does a looot of crazy stuff and he creates every HLB' songs, except for the vocal part (he also has scream parts in Vildhjarta, this guy can do litteraly everything).
Thank you for that. Vildhjarta is my favorite band, but I had no idea about that
Isn’t he the drummer of HLB?
@@N1ght10rd nah guitar
and he also mixes ALOT of heavy bands right now (Born of osiris, Oceano, DVSR and so on for example)
@@N1ght10rd no, guitarist of HLB but he writes mostly of songs by himself (guitar, bass, drums partit), and he's the drummer of Vildjharta ;)
Production-wise, this is actually a lot of bass guitar. The super low "rumbly" parts are definitely low tuned guitars, but the "beef" (if you will) that we're experiencing is REALLY. GOOD. BASS. GUITAR. PRODUCTION. And Buster is just blending it heavily with the guitar. It's such a cool sound. He's been doin that ever since the Abyssal Mouth release, if you want a reference to the same technique/tuning/blending style.
Yeah im pretty sure they are tuned the same as well
“He’s just snorting some heavy riffs”
That one got me 😂
Nik: * *headbangs in concern* *
the adequate reaction
how is this aggressive and calm at the same time ?
Nik - What is the timing on that groove?
HLB - hehehe spastic insanity goes 01010101010101010101010
This tuning is lower than my midterm grade...
Go away.

Since i'm a swedish dude and this band is swedish i'm just gonna tell you that 'vittring' translates into 'scent'. Fun extra info
Yo bro not gonna lie, swedish girls are hot! Just wanted to say that. 😂😂
@@Juan2Steezy 😐
@@Juan2Steezy my dad says they're the hottest girls in the world
Or "weathering"
My granny used to sing this to me when I went to sleep..dmn I miss those days
This song is really different, and I dig it. I agree that Earthless was more up my alley, however, I think this is a very cool song from an art perspective. It's unpredictable, unique, and massive, and I couldn't see this coming from any other band. I was nodding in agreement when you said it would make a good intro/outro/interlude, as that was my thought the first time I heard it. I love the experimentation from them, and this song is rhythmically incredible.
I’m like 88% sure this song is in 3/4 all the way through and pretty sure most of Earthless is in 2/4. They are just absolute masters of syncopation!
The link to the original song in the bio is still set to kingslayer btw.
First half of the song might as well have been Black Tongue lol
"How low are these guitars tuned?!"
Yes.
Heh, I love how non-structured this is, and this entire album! I just ordered an Abyssal Mouth shirt last night, by the way. I’m absolutely gonna getting more of their merch! They have become one of my absolute favorite bands!
If you haven't heard it yet you should do a reaction to Cane Hill's new song Power of The High
+1
I’ve listened to this track 64 times since it’s been released. 100x yes to this
this had some strong vildhjarta vibes to it but with a really nice dirty twist. Awesome video man!
It does help that some members are in both bands sooooooo....
@@willpestka2745 for real? That explains a lot!
@@luca-bg1sj yup! vildhjarta, hlb, and stoort neer all share members
I LOVE this new direction... This is a masterpiece... i love Abyssal ... but Earthless and This One is lower, Darker .. Amazing 🤘👊🏼
What I love about nik, is that he's a genuine metal bro, he loves the genre and he's a great musician himself, he's actually a scene kid in the best way.
Love to see Desolate Specter at the top of the spotify playlist. Indeed a true banger!
This band is unbelievably sick releasing banger after banger 🔥
You got me with the ad there Nik
I need a genuine response on to what the tuning of this monstrosity is. That is literally the brown note
New addition to my gym playlist. Boutta smash some PR’s big time.
Now this. This is one big breakdown. 🤟
Next :“DRAG ME OUT - The Watch Of The Buried"
emo? we want low
@@gabrielahimsa4387 what does that even mean
@@lessur I don't think we need to understand him anymore at this point. He's probably killing some time making those comments. And yup, doesn't make sense he wrote this here.
@@Chizuru94 yeah just funny he’s commenting some weird shit on any DMO suggestion 😂
Woooo... that reminded me of the Fremens in Dune, while they go through the desert and they have to step in a way that the worms can't figure out the pattern behind it. It was really deep, really low, and the clip was masterpiece.
Yet another musical masterpiece
throwing my neck out with the off beats.....Luv it
I was waiting only for this video
5:05 when you get shot with a nerf gun
@@6popular6hell65 No the guy has a bloody hole in his chest
@@disturbiafromthebay ?
@@6popular6hell65 Did you watch the video?
@@disturbiafromthebay i think i commented by mistake... idk, im kinda fucked up rn
His vocals just sound so raw, deep, and painful
Loving the new intro!
Tuning: the point where the clip-on tuner just registers and back 1/4 turn
God damn that was trippy and dope.
I don’t even know how to explain this band anymore more than Massive.
5:39 the desperation... I´m living for it! LOL
Nik, please make a reaction to "DARK TRANQUILLITY - The Dark Unbroken" Its very nice song ^_^
Guys, let's get to the top!
Buster Odeholm knows whats up. I love the vibe the songs have so far.
Song was bomb....lmao 🤣😂damn nick you had me rolling...💀💨
Sick review man! 😎 got a review for ya, No rest - honest crooks
So when are you going to do those son meme Monday?
Doom metal stereotypes
Thall stereotypes
10 levels of djent?
Realy cool Spotify list...
If you look at the tracklist for the album this is on "Välde", you will see that this song is the last song, so it makes sense that it sounds/feels like an album closer as Nik said.
"They're just snorting some HEAVY riffs" XD
Next :“DRAG ME OUT - The Watch Of The Buried"
Please
wya too calm and emo, gf left me song
Yup. Was just about to suggest that, too.
Yeahhhh plzzzz
Love you to look at a parting of a neck guitar play through by vitriol...!!!! Those boys are fucking fire
the timing is like a slow moving steam engine train starting up
Yoooo the original music video link takes you to BMTH - Kingslayer
what can I say, they seemed to have lived up to their name. Pretty badass
the official video link in the description keeps taking my to BMTH brah
Vittring means something along the lines of ”scent”. As in like, a blood hound, catching the scent of something to track it down.
sounds like something you would hear in doom while straight grinding the campaign
I think he plays a baritone 6 upside down with a whammy dt...plus he summons the devil himself
Them some primal fucking drumming boy!
I've never heard of these guy's but I gotta tell ya... It hit me pretty hard in the jelly's!!!🤘🤫🤘
Did you see new Drag me Out song?
we want low, drag me out is high pitch princess lost his bf
I am loving this track. Sounds like Meshuggah on steroids
that guitar tuning is drop 動
"OH the kickies"
I read this as VIBING at first
Hey man we need a Black Tongue reaction, I'd say Parting Soliloquy or Second Death for a video, or just for the music The Eternal Return To Ruin is awesome 👌
That whole album is monstrous. The vocals are absolutely HUGE
the kickies
Idk why but I want Nik to learn some So It Begins songs, idek if he already has or if he even knows the band but I think their riffs are juicy af
Left hand path - bed of nails
Put em on the board!
Nik , please react to Boundaries - I'd rather not say. You'll be blown away. Criminally underrated band
Guitar tune: HIGH VOLTAGE CABLES
Drag me out watch of the buried
That time you want to headbang but don't know how
Reminds a little bit of Tactical Nuke but y'know, lower and slower
Check out Denis’ new single! Watch of the buried, it’s heavy af
Can't wait for the album :D
Please react to Overconfidence by Tallah, such an amazing band & really worth checking out
the playlist is amazing, but I don't own Spotify :(
Nik, could you put the playlist on iTunes or even a YT playlist or could someone else make one with the same songs
this remind me "i am colossus" from Meshuggah
''Riivata'' Means like: To possess. So it's like ''To possess visuals''
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I would recommend you to react on Drag Me Out - The watch of the buried
Nik: omg... what is that guitar tuned to?
hawsers
that was heavy
in every fckng way.
I'm curious to hear you thoughts about a song called Missingo no. (177013) - Desolate
The Swedes are at it again. 🤘
I'm really interested to see where this track gets placed on the upcoming album. It really feels like an intro or a closer, but given that HLB always keep shit weird, I could honestly see it landing anywhere
According to iTunes. Last track
Fun fact: this is actually tuned to drop shoveling gravel!!!!
I LITERALLY JUST WANNA KNOW WHAT TUNING IT'S IN
The link in bio is for kingslayer lol
Pleaseeee react to tide, there's one riff I know you'll love aha
This is nasty..... I love it
You put the link to Kingslayer in the description, dude.
I don't think you can get heavier than this song. I'm sure I'll be proven wrong by HLB in the future though. As far as the lowness of Buster's tuning, he uses a pitch shift pedal a lot, and sometimes drops it down from drop E tuning with the pedal, or up for the extremely high notes. Another nice and heavy HLB song you should check out is Detestor, if you want to hear some heavy ass shit.
gone off them baff salts
At 2:30 it's probably 4/4 but with 8th note triplets
3:41 that growl is the perfect length.
THe kickiez
HLB really is in their own league.
Should react to the new villian of the story, bangers
When the reaction video has more views than the actual music video :P
Tbh this reminds me of something Meshuggah would write.
I thought the same thing
I better see Crimson Armada on that playlist
