- I finally hit a little patch of jazz, reggae, soul, and soundtracks in this storage locker of over 50000 vinyl records. I found Donald Byrd, John Coltrane, Archie Shepp, Lester Bowie, Lucy Ann Polk and More.

The Ska records are amazing! Didn’t have much in the way of ska in my collection so I was thrilled to be able to add these, even though they’re comps. Gotta love Brubeck!

Stellar ! West Indian locals drank a lot of Old Milwaukee because it was good and inexpensive. Red Stripe when they could afford it, and the big one was, and is Greenies ! ( Heineken ) 🤙

This particular pressing of Blade Runner is really rare. It’s an audiophile pressing and should sound amazing! They run upwards of $300.00.

It's too bad we can't keep them all. Wow, Lucy Ann right in my sweet spot and I have not heard of her. There were so many of these ladies that just disappeared.
You know they’re going to be great when Marty Paich is involved. In the case of this album Marty is on Piano. Doris Drew is another whopper on Mode as well. You’ll love her voice too. Both records were recorded in Mode in 1957 with Marty Paich on piano and nearly identical microphone-present front covers.
That Lucy Ann record is worth at least $300.

Manu Dibango is jazz with an African twist, most famous for "Soul Makousa", definitely not Reggae. You found some great stuff again my friend!
