In every situation Connie knows exactly what to do and always looks good. The flip side is she seems to get left to sort details out herself so she is sat there at the end in serious thought instead of relaxing. She must be given the proper briefing others normally get. Other stars come and go but we can't ever risk losing Connie.
@scotsman61 That's sensible, perhaps restrict it to Connie's dedicated forum members who have seen hundreds of flawless movies of hers from around the world. This could be the first one many people see and may give a false first impression.
Any time Connie and her parents decide to do something for a charity the cause is good. There is true pleasure and satisfaction in doing for others. At the same time Connie is an international star and should be given the respect she deserves. This was an awkward moment to observers of the video, it makes no difference if it really wasn't. Contrast this to a event in Korea, Japan, China, anywhere else. Some videos should be kept private. Whats the point in showing the world an awkward moment.

Clearly Connie didn't know whether to sit down or keep standing, and the guy is focused on other things, so he doesn't get what Connie is trying to signal.. It's no big deal I think, but Connie gets a little confused. Think she can handle that.
I get the feeling there wasn't much coordination or producing going on. Connie looked a little perturbed by Gavin Newman's manner. Seemed a little dismissive to me. I wish adults would understand that these video clips are seen all over. Even charity events should be produced by someone. Connie needs to know what to expect and Mr. Newman doesn't really want to be seen in a bad light.
