really like this game. We definitely had some exciting moments when players risked a huge stock pile and lost it but do agree with the gold/silver comparison. I don't really understand the negative reviews of this game. I taught it to my family in 5 minutes and we all played through competitively in about 45 min.
Hour long, exciting press-you-luck game = Quacks. We waited until just recently to try it, thinking it was cult-of-the-new hype, and boy were we pleased. Wish we'd had that since release day. Thanks for continuing to cover lots of lower- to mid-complexity level games! Our game group of parents and kids appreciate many of your "finds".
A combination of wreck raiders and snow white gem mining game? Wreck raiders seems like a hit, but I wasnt a fan. I would like to try this, before buying.
@@GirlyGamer-BoardGameGran absolutely. The days of Wonder and Renegade comparison is absolutely true. It is as if they rested on The Laurels of their pasts between 2014-2016 where they peaked, putting out fewer games annually of more guaranteed quality. And everything after 2017 has been maybe good, maybe not. A shame.
Fuck off, there's nothing wrong with their recent games. Just because they're not as heavy as Five Tribes doesn't mean they're bad. It's as if Days of Wonder aren't allowed to make family games anymore after Five Tribes came out even though they've been making family games for ages (Ticket to Ride, Small World etc). Stop crying like a little bitch and play your Fantasy Flight Game instead.
Its been 15 years since Days of wonder has made a fantastic game, I dont know what all the hype is about them. This game looked ok but nothing stands out. I realize they are trying to do the whole family thing here. Does anyone know how large their print runs are?

I’d love to get this game but No One knows when it’s out. Nothing on the website and everywhere else just states soon
It's out now if you didn't know already. 👍

I don't know what's happened to Days of Wonder over the past 2-3 years, but's it's not been great.
Change of ownership. Bought out by a bigger company. The original small working/decision group is gone.
Used to be a MUST BUY publisher for me, but now - like Renegade Games - I always check reviews / playthroughs before a purchase. Shame.
