It's the year 2023. EA have just brought back skill moves that we had in FIFA Street 2012. The biggest hype feature of the next great football video game is the ability to claim all objectives at once. After two decades of making this video game, the GOAT video game publisher EA are still locking quality-of-life changes behind yearly updates. Career mode still has game-breaking bugs that we've known about for 5 years. Despite women being added to the game, every player above division 7 is spending 80 out of 90 minutes of every game having a footrace between ferland mendy and mboopi. These world-class game developers are spending months coding in animations for the polyester gloves that keepers wear instead of making sure an intercepted pass actually results in a change in possession.

I really hope they fix the delay after an interception is made in the game. So many times I would intercept the ball only for their player to tackle it back and go through on goal. I should be able to get the ball out of my feet before they do that. Could just be delay on my end, but it’s something I notice in all my matches.

The ratings for women and men are calculated separately. So Sam Kerrs rating is going to be based on her performance compared to other women. It’s not meant to be any disrespect to the men’s side

Icons having more chemistry adds the use back. So many improvements made that will make the game so much better, loans hidden, claim all button, squad battle length. And the evolutions stuff is unreal, what id always wanted to use some of the same players that I like same with you and Pick. Shame its only a few players though, small L.

Not really that hyped about this deep dive. Evolutions is a nice one but furthermore it’s only updates instead of really telling us upgrades about new modes, revamping modes etc. They really should add a tournament mode in my opinion because the current modes are too repetitive. There should always be a good balance in SBMM and random matchmaking in my opinion. If not then I hope they will revamp Drafts massively.

Icon change is a huge L for example Schweinsteigers baby was a winger with pace and his mid and prime was a slow CDM. For some icons 3 versions was not needed but some who change position during their career need different versions
They will get special cards along UT so they could still have that position change but in special cards
yeah but the baby versions get outdated really quick and become useless cards. I would rather an icon card be much better so if you get one you know its gonna be useable

There’s no way a 5’9 140 CB is stopping any male player, just the physicality alone in the men’s league would make it impossible for woman to play against, also the fact U15 teams scrimmage many woman national teams and they beat them. If the game is suppose to emulate real life then woman would not be able to keep up with men
The game doesn’t emulate real life. There’s literally goalkeepers who are the best midfielders in the game. There are icons who are dead. Same icons have higher stats physically than the current footballers which would hardly be the case in the modern game.
