You should get out more often. There is a book written about joints over a hundred years ago ,by Paul Hasluk . Many joints usedi inIT are much older than that am USED in European cabinetry . THE Japanese joints are excellent but are NOT the only joints used by master carpenters, This man is not so much a cabinet maker as box builder due to its minuscule sizing.
What a shame! Here's obviously a master of his craft, demonstrating and describing his work, and all we get is a robot voice talking pretty much nonsense. Couldn't we have a translation of the workers actual words? Voice over or subtitles either one would have added rich content.
Appears that most of the people commenting don't know how to turn down the volume and enjoy the lessons visually. Or maybe some people have to complain about others to feel better about themselves.
♥.♥ Thanks so much.
"The joint is not glued, allowing it to be disassembled. I am from the planet Voltron."
My brother makes joints too, but he smokes them all after that
Here we have masters at work and they use a bloody robot WHAT AN INSULT.
They couldn't find a human being to read this?
japanese carpentry is literally one which has the most strongest of interlocking joints i've seen, super

Mad Respect!
Such a pity. I got 30seconds into this and turned off because of that bloody robot voice.
Very interesting! Thank you for sharing.
I watched a German girl make a joint with one hand. Never seen rolling skills like that before.
lol
You always watch it ... silently
During old day they never had nails.
Love this but wish you would have English describing so I could understand

I see that I'm not the only one who thinks that the whole 'robovoice' thing just straight up sucks. No humans to read this I suppose....sad!
I don't like and won't watch robot videos!!
Couldn't take the artificial voice. Might be a good video, just not for me. Made it only through the first two minutes.
Why are you using a computer-generated voice? Completely ruined a good video.
Does anyone know what kind of wood he use for the cabinet?
18:27 what polish is he using

I love the workmanship, but I can't stand the robot voice. Sorry I can't watch this video and learn from it.
sorry for the hassle
F robot voice
4:50 what type of plane and why not just use a standard japanese plane.
It is obviously a miter plane used on a miter shuting board and NOT the standard bench plane.
This is a very annoying video to try and watch.
Robo talk sucks!
Han Chinese Woodworking like Kanji and everything traditional in Japan but Tamagochi, toyota and Sony.
I'll bet nobody tells this guy to get off his ass and do something.
Robot voice. Instant dislike and instant switchoff. It's not even a fucking good robot.
what a shame sadly, I'm doing better for my new videos please check it out! kevin
