NGL super dissapointed they don't come back with the intro/chorus again. They could easily make the song 1 minute longer and use the riffs 2 more times and this song would be 10 times better

Haha, good point. I feel like if the bassist were doing some Les Claypool shit, then their songs would sound way too busy & jumbled. However, if these guys let this guy be their bassist, then he must be pretty good even if he is playing a 4-string.

It's amazing to see the guitar-keyboard harmony instead of the normal 2 guitars harmony.
And it's so good that you can't even realize it's two different instruments until you really pay attention to it (or see it)

what I love the best about them is that they simply make beautiful chord progressions with melody lines, rather than just shredding super fast (like many other artists do...), simplicity is the best! I can't get the melody to stop repeating in my head the whole day...!

Bill Gunawan I keep coming back to this part to watch the dude play the keyboard solo over and over again.
I'll be honest, as a pianist I really needed to see someone actually playing the piano parts in this song to see how they're legitimately real and not just a producer placing a bunch of 32nd notes into the midi roll on Logic/FL/Protools etc.
I am a visual learner so I'll basically just figure out what notes the guy pressed on 0.5X speed and press the same notes myself, and then I'll figure out how to play them the same speed, then I'll compare the new note patterns I'm mimicking to the ones I currently play on my own, and my mind will integrate my new musical expansion into my current mindset and I'll have officially given myself abit of an upgrade. It's an evil style of learning, but it's always worked for me. *Strictly figure out what notes were pressed, press the same notes yourself, figure out what exactly is different about those new notes to the style of music you normally play, incorporate the new style into your own style, you have just upgraded your abilities* .
-----> now it's easier said then done. Every musician has their own expression and it's wrong to assume I could become as skilled as *ARCH ECHO's* pianist just by replaying the same notes he played, because thats just me mimicking him. But music is all math, and if there's a mathematic basis to the way Arch Echo plays their music (Which there is, their music is based off alot of patterns clashing together, in a good way lol), then it can be learnt for the most part.

My heart opened up with prog metal. It's TRUE art I can share with everyone, especially my nepheews. Most vocal forms metal are too harsh for people to understand. I feel this song alone touches so many musical bases it is a shining example of heavy feeling, melodic tone.
