5:45 Djokovic defence is simply unreal.
Man this was just another match in 2013 and it's still way better than some Grand slam finals we've seen in the past year or 2
this Djokovic is a beast
13:14 Djokovic with insane defense in these two points
Even this match shows how good tennis used to be
Why used to? Now we got guys who can match the goats
@@robinsoncruise2228 who match the goats past their pomp they’re well Into their 30s and still beat the next gen. Thiem is best of next gen and he’s lesser version of Stan and Medvedev is an inferior Murray.
@@johnsonhemingway3432 did u watch the match zverev djokovic? Yes they match the goats. The goats are in the 30s and tsitsipas at 22 just beat Nadal
@@johnsonhemingway3432 medvedev has nothing to do with murray. And they can match each other for sure in their primes, idk if murray is better we will have to wait and see how good medvedev will become but he is improving a lot. Djokovic 2019 was maximum destroyer and now he is well in his 30s as an excuse? Nope.
@@robinsoncruise2228 I did and an injured Djokovic well in his 30s beat zverev in 4 - Djokovic between 2011-2016 schools his lanky pasty a** in 3 sets. Tsisitpas should be beating nadal he’s nearly 35 haha u think he would have beat nadal from between 2009-13 on hard court would he balls ur off ur ti** if u think that. Djokovic has produced one stellar performance against nadal in 2019 Aussie open but nadal was dreadful - Djokovic wasn’t better than he was in 2011-16 and he’s shown no signs of repeating that performance since, if he did medvedev and tsistpas have no chance. Federer produced one masterclass in 2015 v Murray but that’s not his prime
Great match from Djokovic
Novak was just awesome from the baseline, those days..
berdych has matured so much. respect for him
Such a good match from Novak
INCREDIBLE MATCH FROM BERDYCH, IF HE ONLY WON THE 4TH SET, HE WAS SOOO CLOSE
The guy has just played a 5 set match of over 4 hours. Berdych should've planned something based on that. Open more the court, drop shots, long rallies, make Nole move a lot so that he got tired. If you attack Nole's backand, it's with fast and low shots, or either you do some very good slices, and if attacking his forehand, very open and low shots, otherwise the guy just kicks your ass, just as it happened with Tomas here. He could've taken more advantage of the situation, though.
Berdych doesn't do drop shots
+aburg10s why not?
He didn't JUST play that match against Wawrinka, had a day off to rest. Also, Berdych is out there, not you.
That was Berdych’s downfall IMO, even though he was very talented, he was always a straight baseliner who never mixed up his game. His opponents could just sit back knowing he’ll never challenge them to go to the net, and he won’t change up the pace with slices either. That’s part of the reason why Novak always beat him.
Good match. Surprised Berdych got a set though...
berdych was good enough to win a set against djokovic... it is not a surprise considering djokovic played wawrinka a round before in a fucking classic marathon
How many defeats Berdych have from Đokovic, Federer...
Berdych took 20 defeats each from Roger and Rafa but the most from was Novak with 25 defeats.
You have to be perfect in every aspect to match top 3. Berdych at least has two things to improve: toss too high, and forehand is not fully swing to be a weapon (contact point should probably be a little further in the front)
Berdych has matured mentally really well. I think his only real detriment is that he's too big to be as fast as is needed for modern day tennis. A guy like Janowicz doesn't have the trunk-like legs (and therefore the balance and power) of Berdych but Janowicz can move as well as any guy who's 6'2" or 6'3"
Man now i cant even see Berdych often sad decline from being in a top 5 position at one stage
He is sinner's prototype.
This was a very lopsided 4 set match. Berdych raised his game to A++ in the second set and won. However, he couldn't sustain it throughout and once he dropped back to his usual game it was a masacre from Novak. Honestly, this just show how crazy good Novak was, he made a player of Berdych caliber (GS finalist, consistently top10 player) look like just another guy.

Anyone know what Tomas' shoes are?
Berdych couldnt place the ball properly,he always placed his backhand on the cross court.djoco hits fabulous forehand with the western or extreme western grip.
Berdych should have employed what he did to Nadal the previous year and just hitting the ball flatter.
Novaks serve is much better nowdays
yes much pace , speed and acuracy
skripi, skripi plava staza, nole jebe kog god stasa.
