This was just normal music for us back in the day. Allman Bros, Skynyrd, Zeppelin, Hatchet, etc were on the radio everyday.

    Excellent reaction.
Another kick-ass Southern Rock band from Florida. Outlaws from Tampa, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot and .38 Special all from Jacksonville.

Love this song so much. I grew up when this was new, but for some reason it only landed on my radar this past year. So many songs from this era are played over and over (which I love), but it seems only to be the same handful when so much more was made (often the same artists) that needs to get more attention. Great reaction. Thanks for doing this song justice.

Southern rock's "Stairway to Heaven". Of the many anthems of southern rock, a fair number can evoke this much pure soul, but none exceed this timeless masterpiece. RIP brother Hughie. Even though we never met, you taught me how to play guitar. And every time I hear this song I hear you playing just for me.

It always cracks me up when people react at the 3 or 4 minute mark. At that point these (9's are just getting warmed up.
    What an underrated band!!
Saw them twice and they killed it both times. Got to be one of the best songs ever

With much do respect, the album in which "Green Grass and High Tides" is on was released in July of 1975, the plane crash that took the lives of Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, Dean Kilpatrick, the pilot and co-pilot happened on October 20th 1977.

On the live album, yes. Hughie addressed this on the "Bring It Back Alive" live album while on tour in '77 when they heard the word.
Hughie, "We'd like to take just a minute here ... we're gonna dedicate a song & we've been dedicating every night since we've been on this tour ... some real good friends of ours & I'm sure they're friends of yours - The Lynyrd Skynyrd Band." ... Then the guys launch into about 22 minutes of blazin' GG&HT.

Try to react to Pink Floyd live pulse 1994 concert songs, remastered re-edit version. Maybe you've heard Comfortably Numb on the radio and the live version is outstanding, but what about SORROW live? They are unparalleled perfectionists that enjoy making music together.

This thing was done in one take. When they were done they said, "print it". If it ain't broke don't fix it.
This is great to play in the jukebox because it's 1. Very good. 2. Long as hell
Can you believe this is their only hit? SHAME
    You're Welcome!
Regarding your guitar request: Edgar Winter has a song called "Frankenstein" that's entirely instrumental.
    Primarily guitar🎸

OUTLAWS, "GREEN GRASS, AND HIGH TIDES".. J.T. no strokes aloud. For sure no 2 and half minute song here...the 70'S and 8 minute plus songs were the best of times for Album ROCK.. more classic epics TRAFFIC, AND "THE LOW SPARK OF HIGH HEELED BOYS"' "DEAR MR. FANTASY" "LIGHT UP, OR LEAVE ME ALONE", "ROCK AND ROLL STEW"...

Enjoyed your reaction. I'd like to suggest, if you're interested. "The Band, and The Staples - The Weight (The Last WAltz)" this band has an extensive collection. Fun Fact: Bob Dylan and The Band were together for a while and made beautiful music together. If you're into storytelling and civil rights, Bob Dylan is the Man... I'd suggest this one if you're into giving him a listen "Bob Dylan, The Times They are a Changin' 1976 (Video)"
