It is the first century A.D. and the Romans have invaded ancient Britain, but the Iceni, a Celtic tribe, are unwilling to live as a subject race in their own land. For a while, they are allowed to continue their lives as usual, without Rome's interference, but when Emperor Claudius dies, the Romans and the new Emperor Nero no longer tolerate the Iceni way of life and endeavor to crush the upstart Queen Boudicca (Alex Kingston -- ER, Moll Flanders) and her tribe. However, they have underestimated the Celtic spirit and, seeking revenge, Boudicca leads her people against the mighty Romans with devastating effect.

Im brazilian (but I lived in London) I LOVE UK FOREVER! Boudica is the great history.
I really enjoy the story of Boudica and her revenge against Roman abuse, but in the battlefield, never underestimate the Romans.

River Song as Queen Boadicea?, I have to watch this one for sure now. Funny the Celts in Britain were the only one to sack London, not even the German Luftwaffe could do that in modern times.

@@kalevquigley5686 , there s a difference between raiding and seasonal occupation in the Vikings days to the Roman and Norman Invasions and settlement of Britain.

@@kalevquigley5686 The Vikings were temporary invaders and settlers while the Romans and Normans settled in control of the land longer.

Strength is not which is in arms. Strength is actually is a strong mind & selflessness & sensitivity for others. Men of her state(Pak) don't see her(Asifa Zardari) just as a woman. Pak, I have left almost everything b/c of you. Now, what are the problems? I will just available for all states and humanity everywhere if I will leave this state. I have no connection with this state, its politics, or any political party.
Asifa Zardari is recommended as head of state by me & like Queen for all people of Pak, She is enough for the people of Pak. I also have no connection with PPP. She is also not recommended other then Pak for any state or humanity anywhere.
There are two options according to Pak. 1st I will leave Pak & 2nd live like a normal; person with no interest in state, it's politics, or any political party. But any mindset or roadmap will not succeed against me. After saying all these right and acceptable things now you need to show some dignity, values, and humanity. Set aside from me and go away.
