- Just before his return to Pakistan after 4 years in exile, former president Prevez Musharraf explains that he does not fear arrest or assassination; that he wants to run in the forthcoming elections and would like to rule his country again. He vows to force the United States to stop its use of drones to strike inside Pakistan and offers that Al Qaeda's leader Ayman Al-Zawahairi could be in Pakistan.

Why exactly was he in a self-imposed exile? And why does he expect Pakistani people to vote for him. When he was the president, he hadnt achieved anything substantial and then embarrassed the whole country with his misadventure in Kargil. He probably feels that people will vote for him because the present govt is simply disgusting and atleast he appears to be better in comparison.
