But India has played more negative role by taking the inflexible position of Kashmir as "atoot ung" of India. I personally think people of largest democracy in the world should voice their support for the Indian government to discharge its duty to the democratic right of Kashmiri people for freedom of choice to decide their future.
I think the Dixon plan for Kashmir crises resolution of the 1950's is still very much valid and feasable. It satisfies all parties with some sort of compromise. Historically Kashmir is conglomerate of four distinctive regions. Kashmir valley, Jammu, Laddakh and Gilgit Baltistan. By this plan Jammu and Laddakh goes to India, Gilgit Baltistan to Pakistan and Kashmir valley become an independent state.
