  • This lovely church is in the middle of a forest on the outskirts of a village called Bratton. This church has been featured in a film called 'Bell Ringing Safety' by the Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
These are lovely bells. Even though the ceiling is very low (not as low as Westbourne, Sussex) it gives the church character. Something very few churches have these days. If you are in the area I would highly recommend a visit as these bells are very nice.

What a lovely ring. I have to admit, the ceiling is very low. I ring at st Katharine’s church Holt and the ceiling is perfect height there.😊

Nice bells? I would beg to differ, they're vile, the tenor sounds like a frying pan... Although I can see why you do like them! Decent ringing tho, and nice to see something different!

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge fan of a lot of this modern stuff - as well you know! like I say I can see why you like them, they do have a bit of something about them. But at the end of the day, it's a shame that such a magnificent building doesn't have something a bit better upstairs to match it :-)
