so he offers prozac instead of HRT at the onset...not sure about the logic there,,,,doesn't she need sequential HRT as still ovulating and then switch to continuous after a year ?Anyone correct me if I am wrong.
Would be nice to tell us what her age is please... as she is still having regular periods so if she is under 50 then surely her risks are different? Amazed that he fit it all in within 9 minutes. I agree with someone elses comment - choices of HRT. Lastly jsut for perfection - did he ask if had any gynae surgery e.g. to ovaries/womb although fair enough this should come out when he asks about medical conditions (unless patient being harsh and waiting for a question on "any prev surgical history?"). Overall I will try and adopt getting through it like this.... Oh and tell her to go and buy the lubricating jelly - don't be prescribing that when its cheap to buy!!!
Shouldn't she be started on a cyclical regime as she is still having regular periods? Current guidance states continuous HRT is not suitable for someone who is perimenopausal?
Great video to learn but few points for trainees who will watch this to learn. Avoid repetition : Patient said in opening sentence I need HRT and doctor at 2 min 3 sec asked again what are you hoping today
You have got problems with your voice doc, it is very difficult to follow what you are talking. Sorry you need to be slow and clear and stop interrupting in the middle of conversation. You should allow the patient to finish talking. You need to go back to basics of good communication.
Very nice flow. Sounds natural and empathetic. One of the best csa videos.
I would add in at the end that it isn't contraception, and also to report any abnormal bleeding. ALthough very good, the Dr Talks very fast!
very nicely done . But I wish the sound quality was better.
Transdermal at all? No increased risk of VTE vs oral preparations. Go for moderate sequential patches 👍
I just can’t stop looking at the skirt! So pretty ☺️
ME TOO! So pretty
Me TOO ! beautiful
What about the different forms of hrt perhaps she would prefer patches to tablets
Learnt many things. Great video. Excellent work. Thank you to all of you

Poor sound quality, could not hear most of it

he did ! he prescribed Ellest Duet not Ellest duet conti
I would probably not ask about the expectation as she disclosed that already.
At some times you both are talking at the same time.
keep rocking it Dr Smith!!!
Such poor quality audio. It is actually hurting my ears trying to hear what they are saying.
at the end she got what she needs, doc assess the risk and discuss benefit- it wont be 100% for any of us this would be a pass in csa

I do not think he needed to talk about alternatives - he should talk more about options - patches and gel etc ..
Nicely done! Improve the quality of sound please
Thanks but nos old video
Need to know her age..... and date of LMP to know if she requires contraception and type of HRT( bleed/non bleed)
Great video! Thanks!
Would she be for cyclical HRT as she is still having periods?
agree she is perimenopausal, hence for cyclical- ie: elleste duet (than conti)
yes
Brilliant!
Could have spend time on hrt types talk about none hrt which she is not bothered
Poor audio quality
Did she say she’s ‘got a toy boy as well’? 😂
my first comment on youtube, the actress is the business. .... this hormone you are going to give me Doc ...
Can you give HRT if they’re still having periods regularly?
