So so sorry to hear about holly. We hope you guys have a safe trip and it goes as smooth as it can. Can’t wait till Saturday as we will arrive in Bulgaria for a week of scouting and experiencing all we can on our road trip! 🇧🇬 ❤
So sorry to hear about the loss if your dog Holly. 😢 I am going to look at the residency ongoing costs as the cost of 1 months UK mortgage and council tax payment = a years residency. Good luck with getting organised for the trip back to the UK.
Glad to know you still would rather be in BG despite all the visa issues/money. Love your kiddies little voices, so sweet. One of our dogs was bitten by a tick and contracted ehrlichiosis, she beat that with drip once every 5 days which lasted 2 hours. She beat the disease itself, but it unfortunately took its toll on her internal organs and we had to let her go shortly after she got the all clear. To say we were devastated is an understatement - it almost broke us and we didn't feel the same pain until we lost our last 2 Bulgarian furbabies 2 years ago. Enjoy your extra hour.
Enjoying hearing your journey so far. Have discovered Bulgaria recently, and considering coming out for a reccy - is the visa you use by setting up a trade representative what you’d recommend? We’re asset rich but cash poor. Looking to escape the crazy uk.
In Australia especially the prone tick areas people tend to put tick drops on the back of the neck of cats & dogs. There’s plenty of alternative/healthy options as well. It’s just a go to here. Good luck with everything. Australia 🇦🇺
Just an idea: maybe if you guys are looking to form a business you could hire yourself out as hourly consultants for people looking to move there/ visit for 90 days. Services that would be valuable: - Pick them up at the airport, show them around the area (point out the grocery, good restaurants, places to stay away from (if any), etc and take them to their new apartment/ hotel. Could they take a taxi and figure it out for themselves? Sure, but I would sure pay for this service. After flying all day, navigating in a foreign land, with a foreign language, I would love to have a friendly face and English speaker help with this transition. - Talk people through the visa process and answer questions specific to their needs. - Be a ‘boots on the ground’ person that could physically go look at a rental before a person signs a lease. It’s scary signing and paying a lot of money for a place sight unseen. -Lead tours/ driver- since you guys already know where all the cool spots are/ fun things to do you could take people. Having someone people know they can trust, and who also speaks English would be invaluable. Beats taking a taxi or bus by a mile. Anyways… this is just an idea. I’ve never traveled internationally (from the US) and the idea of navigating all this is daunting to say the least. Thanks for all your insight! It’s greatly appreciated 😊
Hey guys! I'm bummed I missed you LIVE again. Do you have to renew your Visa D in your home country every year or is that done in BG? Thanks! (cute top)
Hey. It`s "cremestone farm & guest House Bg", isn` t it? Sorry to be a know-all. I really want to learn how to ride a horse and I could not find anything with "creme stone house"... Is it ok to ask for the price of riding lessons?
Lots of people say we(as Bulgarians in general) look grumpy from aside. Although is more of a national trait, have our more serious face expression, ever put you off to speak to someone? I'm just curious. Me and my daughter hear that on regular basis and i was wondering if its like a national thing or rather a regional one, as i can swear everyone where i grew up have very similar face expression. We are not bubbly and rarely would "bother" someone but we would help to our best abilities if someone ask. However I'm curious, you as a foreigner ever felt off by it.
I learned the language before my first visit, so I have ALWAYS seen Bulgarians smiling and laughing. Yes, there may be a grumpy first impression until you say "здравейте!" but then it's all smiles! I think the language makes a big difference 😊
@@the_phoenixproject glad you put the effort to learn the customs and language. I sometimes watch random videos from foreigners in Bulgaria and it's really off-putting when people moan and grumble that locals insist you learn some of the language, and they as almighty English native speaking gods are beyond that. How dare they ask us, the English native speakers learn a foreign language whilst we speak English. They should learn it! I know not all Brits are like this, but the amount of those is rather staggering...
@@svetoslavtodorov2427 when we 1st moved to Bulgaria we literally smiled, waved and said zdraveite to everyone we saw, all the stern/serious faces turned to smiles bar one lady who refused to engage for a few weeks. It became a challenge for us so we continued with the pleasantries and then one day she broke her face into the most lovely smile and from that moment on always made an effort with us. 😃

Sorry for your loss. I kind of expected that information, since we had not seen Holly in several videos.
So sorry you lost your dog, it's so tough, but she was loved and she would have really appreciated that.
Have not seen you for a while. Hope you Bulgarski's are well!

Yes it is! Let us know if you need help with visas. We wouldn't recommend the agent that we first used and have found a much better lawyer to do it.

Hello there how are you all
Hi guys, it’s a shame you have to go back to U.K. to sort out (more money🙄) I’m so lucky I got in before Brexit. Take care ❤❤❤
What parts of Bulgaria have you not seen yet that are still on your list? Have you spent much time in Plovdiv and Sofia? What did you think?
How are your pets doing? Do you still have 2 cats and 2 dogs? What will you do with the chickens over winter? Will they need heating lamps?
@@stephanieblackmore1461 Did you not watch the whole video?
@@the_phoenixproject Sorry, i thought I was watching it live.
Hi friends! How are you ?🎉

Does a spouse of an EU citizen need a D visa
Yes, visa D reunification - I believe!
