Hi Tracey, your words warmed my heart ❤️ Retirement isn't just a phase of life, it's an opportunity for reinvention, exploration, and growth. And it sounds like you're seizing that opportunity with both hands.
Keep going, can't wait to hear more about your journey 🌟

I enjoyed your video and found it very informational. I have also subscribed. One big suggestion, your music competes with your presentation. It was very hard to concentrate what you were saying with the music in the background. Look forward to more videos. Thank you!

I worry about dementia. Am retiring this year. How important is it to keep your brain engaged in critical thinking?

Congratulations on your upcoming retirement! 🎉 Your concern about dementia is quite common and totally understandable. You're already ahead of the game by thinking about how to keep your brain sharp! 🧠
Just like we hit the gym for our body, our brains need their own kind of workout, and that's where critical thinking comes in. It’s like a fun mental gym session! 🏋️‍♂️ It helps keep our minds nimble, improves our decision-making, and even boosts our understanding of different viewpoints. Plus, it's a fantastic tool to help fend off dementia.
As we age, maintaining this mental agility can contribute to a healthier brain and may help delay or possibly prevent the onset of dementia. And the beauty of it is, there are countless ways to foster critical thinking in our daily lives. It could be through reading a thought-provoking book, solving puzzles, learning a new skill, or even engaging in lively debates with friends over current events.
