You have to find the nHair in the outliner and then use Nucleus to create collision. So you would need to make you body mesh an nCloth "Passive Collider"

Really helpfull tool Steven... Could you tell me if there is an easier way to align all my joints along a curly hair clump.. I am basically creating a hair rig and have long hair clumps which are is a "S" shape.. is there an automated way to align my joints along the clump length..
How do you turn on interactive playback? is it that play button located all the way at the end of the FX shelf? (clicked it, doessnt seem to work tho) EDIT: Took me some time to realize that "interactive playback" actually meant that the special playback has to be actually running while you move your objects like it's shown in this video.

That probably means you have multiple joint chains selected. Try selecting individual joints from one chain, from the root to the end then applying the dynamics

This works great for me when i want to make a mesh dynamic as in the video, but once i want to add another dynamic mesh in the scene using THE SAME type of bones dynamics ( for instace ik per bone ) i get an error message telling me that i already have an ik with same name ... (wich is from the first dynamic mesh in the scene ) in other words, i can't make more than one Dynamic mesh beacause of naming issue :/

I used this on maya 2013 as bonus tools and loved this tool. isn't there any way to get such plugins or transfer the previous bonus tools to later versions of maya releases? i am trying to export the bone animation to unity as fbx.. i have a humanoid skeleton with a tail that i made dynamic through your bonus tool. but as soon as i bake the animation to skeleton and export it to fbx.. the animatio of the tail on its skeleton are not plotted.. any suggestions on what im doing wrong? i want to catch the animation of the tail so that i can export it as fbx to unity..
you have to record the entire simulation on timeline first , by mel command (recordAttr), so that the animation of joints and ncloth or nhairs, gets in to keys and then bake your simulation by only selecting the entire joint hierchy..
go to maya folder documents, change the name of, prefs folder to old, and restart maya, it will reboot and prompt it to create a defualt prefs folder, now u have the scripts in old one, and maya should be reseted back to default

They add new tools quarterly, I think. For each full release, most of the SAP and Bonus Tools are included as standard.

It looks like you have a joint chain in a semi-circle with vertical legs coming down for the flags rig. Or, are they separate chains?

how to bake to joints
maya keeps crashing when i add it to my rope on my character. please help
go to maya folder documents, change the name of, prefs folder to old, and restart maya, it will reboot and prompt it to create a defualt prefs folder, now u have the scripts in old one, and maya should be reseted back to default
