    Here are my exam hacks to help you succeed in Physics Exams in A Level Physics and similar courses such as AP Physics, IB physics and equivalents.
    These are very important for revision.
    Some of the examples of papers that I have solved are from OCR Physics A:
    www.ocr.org.uk/qualifications... Please note that I am not affiliated with the exam board and any advice and solutions are just my own.
    This video is applicable to all exam boards including AQA Physics, OCR A and B, Edexcel CIE Cambridge International, Eduqas, etc.
    Hope this is helpful!

    What are some other tips to add? Let's do a very useful list - I'll start - know that error bars' length are twice the absolute uncertainty. Line of worst of fit can be drawn from the bottom of bottom error bar to the top of the top.

      One that I have found helpful, is to leave a question that you are stuck on and come back to it once you are done with the rest of the questions. It not only saves time and prevents frustration but can also give you new insights to approach the problem :)

      If you don’t know how to answer or approach a written question look back to the context of the question.
      Take time to plan out how you will answer written questions to make sure it’s concise and easy to read.
      You will not get mark for simply writing the equation for Faraday’s law, you have to define it in words most of the time.

    Do you have any tips on remembering the thermal physics equations, i always get mixed up between Charles Boyles and pressure Law

    • @zhelyo_physics
      @zhelyo_physics  Год назад +6

      For this one... start with pV=nRT, say T=const (Boyle's Law) then pv=const, i.e. p1V1=p2V2 , if the pressure is const (Charle's law) then V/T=nR/p but nR/p is a const so V/T=const etc. That really works!

    write down the quantities you have on the side and then write the quantity they ask you to find with a question mark then you can look at the formula sheet and try use the known quantities to find the unknown by rearranging formulas etc!

      Good question! Hard to give a definite answer as every question paper is different and people's strengths and areas of improvements are different. What works for me is to practice under timed conditions and experiment, if you find yourself spending more than 10 minutes a problem, it's probably beneficial to move on. Good luck, you got this!

    do i use radiants for all question to do with circular motion and oscillations?

    • @zhelyo_physics
      @zhelyo_physics  Год назад +1

      Excellent question. It depends on the question, if you have to resolve forces into components etc in circular motion and the angles are given in degrees, you can just use normal degree mode as they are just vectors.
      The formula of x=Acos(ωt) and x=Asin(ωt) need to be in radian mode in SHM. Hope this helps!

    Hey bro, I can solve hard questions in exams, but my time management is not that good. So despite having the potential, I get 90, 90+ but don't get 100, can you tell me a way to improve my time management??

    • @zhelyo_physics
      @zhelyo_physics  Год назад

      100 is very hard! It might depend massively on exactly where the mistakes are, after doing a couple of papers I would look at pricesely where the errors came from and see if you can find a plan to reduce them. I wouldn't worry too much though, 90+ is amazing!! Well done!
