    I appreciate this video. You made it so I’ll actually use it. I never really liked the move until now. I kind of like this idea you looking at some of the most taught videos on RUclips And actually teaching the stuff correctly. You can always tell when you’re being taught something correctly. Because it doesn’t always feel right at the start. But then you get that moment when it hits And you say yourself that’s it right there. Fanx

    I always pull cards randomly, and more than most of the time the 7 ♠️, and 9 ♣️ always seem to pop out of nowhere like they are telling me something. My journey started a little over 7 months ago. When the 9♣️ appeared in this video, and you spoke of octopuses, (🤔pusi?) And the book i started my journey on was "If an octopus could palm" of which I know 16/18, and 7 of which I can perform. A very strange and challenging road my path has taken me. But I find solace in the sleights and calm with the faro. 🤔 although you are promoting mental illness awareness. 🤨 And that's where the last stone of my journey has left me, though the road seems to continue... 😕..😠 "Thats not funny universe!".. But it is a hilarious way to inform me that the next step of my journey requires assistance.
    Fank you and thank you Mr. Madison the Madgician for the color change and the inspiration to continue my journey in the arts.

    Well I think it’s safe to say I didn’t pick up any bad habits. One thing I do different is the where on card I hold it. I’m not sure it matters tho, my motions are all the same. I hold the card with my right hand on the blank corners, using my deck hand to pull on the pip corners. Still seems like it’s the same. Also helped me remember when I was a beginner which corners got pulled. “Pips get pulled”. Let me know what you think about this.

    I can't get the card to flip over completely with this handling. Is there a reason I can't hold the top right of the card on my right second finger (versus top left corner) and bottom left of the card with my right thumb (versus bottom right corner)? Then flip the card using left thumb and web of right hand. It works just fine and I only bow the corner ever so slightly just before the flip. I've never had a problem performing this way nor had anyone guess the method.

    • @milesgorey
      @milesgorey 2 года назад

      The only con I can imagine is that, once the card flips, the "angle difference" is more noticeable. But I correct this in the same way you show here and again have never had anyone say they figured it out.
