Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

I very much prefer him playing than him narrating others playing, glad to have these back again. Wish he'd do more public plays though, love when he's stresstested by people constantly bombarding him

Haven't had this much fun in a short period since the old days of Tanya's Mod.
So many Forts episodes in quick succession! What a great time to be browsing youtube.
That was intense. What a cool, scary idea, and the amount of things you have to just be on top of to be even vaguely sure that you're not getting hit is just impressive. Never not be building decoy ammo!
Yeah, in the second game I could feel the tension building as Incursus went to build eco after spending a bunch of ammo without replacing it...
yeah… ammo management is the key… even more interesting in 4v4 games (because most likely you waste ammo because also your teammates shot)

Hello, nice to see you liked playing my mod (or better say mode).
In fact it's basically just disabling almost everything, except Nukes, Sniper and Harpoon… but it creates a new game mode. Also changed some values, e.g. different build speed for ammo (for balancing) and reaction of the nukes for the decoy ammo. The most fun of that mod is the mind game with ammo management… great for a 4v4 lobby as well (will you mate shot decoy or do you have to, to save yourself?) … and of course the satisfying explosions ;-)
By mistake Salzwerk took the wrong mod (harpoon ping pong) but the good playable one is named "nuke ping pong", because the shown also allows swarm (the problem is swarm also got hit by the decoy and when there are a lot in the air it's impossible to redirect them.
Probably in the future I might add some dedicated maps for it (in which also by event additional nukes fly into the map for extra spice ;-)

I never noticed the skull on the smokestack of the reactors with the skin they've got, or the changed particles. That's a really nice touch, those thigns look so cool. Glad these videos seem to be sticking around.

You should build a few storages at the start. You always float resources.
In this mode the only relevant resource is decoy ammo

I wonder if AP snipers would be good anti-air if you had the APM for them. Do they one-shot nukes? If they do they might just be your best bet if you’re out of squirrels.

sorry for commenting in german. i like forts, i know salzwerk a bit by watching other creators.
incursus please play also with team pietsmiet. they have to learn more about the game. and they like the game too and have a big fanbase in germany.
i think they are proud to play against you. and i think you can easily win a 1v4 match against them.

the harpoon is a weapon added in the high seas dlc, and it comes with 2 ammo types, control ammo and decoy ammo, the control ammo will place a small core when shot at a neutral base without a core, or if the neutral base does have a core, it will give you the control over that core, one other interesting mechanic, is if you disable an enemy core using an emp weapon, you can use the control ammunition to take over that fort, ( even only if one of the forts multiple cores is disabled ) also the control ammunition can be disabled individually from the mods tab in multiplayer, and decoy ammunition will attract (enemy) swarm missles and warheads ( or nukes as they call them ) to the point of impact,

does drunken nukes deal more damages?
Why does one need to build nukes in this mode? Why not invest everything in return-to-sender?
Because the decoy acts as an EMP which would disable your portals
@@werk62 no… portales are or course just disabled in this mod… not existing.
But yeah… you theoretically dont need to build nukes because the other would do (if he doesn't think the same as you), and just shot back with decoy. I'll create maps with automatically coming nukes soon, too
@@werk62I didn’t mean portals here but I know portals are the original return-to-sender. I meant investing everything in the harpoons and not building nukes at all as nukes aren’t the determining factor in this mod.
