Interestingly, this existed in a previous patch in another form. Both Paragon and 005bucc counts stacked beyond 20 when both were on the field. They removed that functionality a few patches ago but decided to bring back half of it 🙃
Only thing I think is dumb is that a favored would make more than the trade empire previously, with all money buffs given with that navarch. idk if its still the case. But yeah it seemed strange to me. Haha
@@ham_the_spam4423 it does but you can just sell the trade empire during boss's and rebuy it after if you are worried about not having paragon of power
@@Mazupicua1 I'm pretty sure what he's saying is, by buying a new xx5 boat after getting the Paragon, each bottom path boat will earn the 40× -amount (like in the video) and also earn an additional 20× amount that the t5 provides. Idk if thats true though, i just think thats what he meant
@@personal.assistant not sure if that is what they were saying but that is what happens you used to get 2 separate 20x buffs with paragon and x-x-5 trade empire now that should be a 40x and a 20x with the paragon change
Honestly,I think they should just keep it like this, just because You're also underestimating the amount of maps this can be done on since you're forgetting about Lota
A very strange buff indeed. What I would change about it is to engage with the sellback of favored trades. Like increasing sellback of Paragon's and towers by 20% instead of 10%. If that is too powerful, only apply the sellback by 10% and give the normal tower sellbacks by 20%. Alternately, if you want to be wacky- the Paragon could apply the Banana Central buff but instead of towards only Banana Facilities, it applies to Favored Trades and Marketplaces. However, it is only applied within the radius of the Paragon itself. With the favored trades having an increase in income by 30% compared to the 20% seen in the usual Banana Central Buff.
Thats fine for paragons tbh since you lose cash slider, accrued pops, and the cost of sacrifices anyway. For normal towers..... 95% sellback is absurd. Farms get 105% sellback(+10 from bottom path, +20 from navarch, +5 from MK +70 base, yeah.), which is. Yeah.
If I had to guess... you're supposed to buy a low degree navarch as your first paragon, and, if using Geraldo, you can now, more easily make the money required for higher degree paragons, along with affording paragon totems, thus reducing the need for pops to get the max degrees. Then, you can sell to get a higher degree navarch, giving you the best possible defense. I mean, does make getting the more powerful paragons to a high degree much easier.
I think it’s just a way for you to acually make the bottom path buckanear more pronounced in the paragon cus before it’s effect was not seen now it might be seen now
The buff makes sense, though it should probably scale with the paragon degree. Like, a degree-1 Navarch gives the same buff as xx5 Boat but with the new money (+10 money per Merchant), but then higher degrees let you buff more Merchants (every 5 degrees adds +1 merchant to buff) and the buff bigger (every 5 degrees adds +1 money per merchant). So, a Degree-1 Navarch gives +10 money per merchant to 20 merchants, but a degree-100 Navarch gives +30 money per merchant to 40 merchants. That or just increase the bonus money per merchant and make it extend to all merchants, even if there's more than [insert number of merchants]
I think on maps with less land space to farm boat farming makes sense. I remember beating a few bosses and needing to make like a boat paragon for tier 4 and then rebuying qll the boats before tier 5 to get goliath. So to me it makes sense if they wanna introduce some tougher bosses on water only farming maps.
Quick question: For some reason the achievement First Monkeys First doesn’t work for me. I’ve won a game with primary monkeys only and the achievement is still at 0%
this can be worth it... makes back it's cost in roughly 11 rounds but that's an estimate from small math lol. ill be using this for water maps for high rounds
Yes but, when you afford it is a huge factor. Even if you're really good and can afford this at say r60, by that point you should already have a decent farming setup and this wouldn't be very useful. Especially since it takes up so much space. I don't know how many extra boats you can fit around LoTA but I assume it isn't enough to make this viable on maps with little to no water.
I guess the only benefit of this setup is that you get defense and income at the same time and it costs less than sniper farming or a chinook. Of course you'll make more with farms but if you need a combination of defense and farming these guys are great 😀
I really don't get this change since they did the opposite change for the empire doubling the reward and halving the max to 10 merchant men in BTDB2 a few month ago I know different games but they should know its comical to get 40 boats on one map
if ninja kiwi really wants to make this a viable strategy, for land locked maps, they need to allow the t3-4 mermonkey be able to host water towers so that it aligns with the same vein as the middle path ice monkey.
Doing this would drastically change a lot of maps though, I feel. You'd essentially be able to get water towers whenever which messes with the balance a little.
I thought you had to rebuy the xx5 Trade Empire in order to get the +20? Did they change this recently to give all 40 from the Paragon alone? If you're aiming for every Paragon on the map you're gonna need this cash but I don't foresee using this for regular gameplay.
They want to give the navarch a role as a transitional paragon, given how lately other paragons (like Tack) completelt smoke it for dps. You also never got your early boats the tier 3 or tier 4 boat upgrades. Tier 3 actually contributes almost as much cash as the boats themselves, especially for rounds 39 and 49, and tier 4 buffs the boat's passive itself (but obviously not the navarch)
Navarch is bad as a first/early paragon though, you cant get it and farm pops on your other paragons because in early rounds it will easily destroy the entire round with global attacks
@Benjamin-rn4wc that's the thing you don't farm pops, you get a low degre one by doing regular farming, and while it kill the boss you place your farming, the buff adding to 40 ship mean you can get a lot more cash faster so more power then you can just sell it and buy it later when you need it
I agree on the transitioning part but bro does absolutely not get cooked in DPS department. That's where he's cooking, tack para goes worse then tackzone.
I just found out that even though icons are there for both buffs (Paragon and trade empire) they don't stack.... That was one of my concerns with this strat but I guess it's not since you don't need the t5 hence you don't lose the buff
Why do people think of this as a "buff"? It's a huge nerf disguised as a buff! How many maps have the *SPACE* for 40 boats? Many, if not most, can *BARELY* fit at most 20. So how are you supposed to fit 40 on those? You're not, that's how.
Besides, am I seriously the only one here who thinks buying 20 boats and upgrading them is tedious as all hell. Now we're supposed to deal with *40!?* And everyone thinks this is not a big deal? No one cares in the slightest what they're making us do? None of you are bothered by it? Sheep, I tell you. Follow the shepherd without question. That's you.
trade empire bonus = 10$ for 20 boats per tier 003 for all merchant and tier 004 paragon bonus = 10$ for 40 boats per tier 003 for all merchant and tier 004 but they gives 20 $ per tier 004 for all merchant and tier 004
Interesting...
Anyway since the Tack is among the weakest Paragons, I tried if it can solo an Elite Boss - ruclips.net/video/NlSnEX4Rfxg/видео.html
It doesn’t need the navarch I found out playing online
Maybe they’re testing some things before making the farm paragon and seeing how much it should make

Not Ethan calling round 40 tier 1
If you want to push true end game, max all paragon, and each 5 to see how far you can get this would be the way to afford it.
Boss events, portable lakes, quick cash for late-game paragons.
the empire still gives 15 per merchent men the paragon gives 10 per man and they stack so if you have both the first 20 gives 25
The problem is where are you going to find enough water to put all the buccaneers
Idk if its a hot bet but it’s going to be a solution for an elite boss soon.
Maybe this could've been done to add another way to help newer players unlock paragons in sandbox mode. Granted, that's just me spitballing.

Kinda of ridiculous and dumb change imo. How often is there space for 20 let alone 40 bucc's
Could someone enlighten me on how leaked bloons affect income. Does their pops add to the endround income? Or is it just lost?
I think this might be for a boss event idea
