You have that vibe , That at the end of a party where everyone’s drunk and passed out, only you and that one other dude sit jamming out listening to you play… that dude is me.
i hope someday i'll be confident enough in my singing to sing this in front of people but until then i'll keep playing along with you marty thanks so much.
When I first started playing I tried to sing everything I played to help improve my timing. Little did I know that it also improved my ear. It opened up so much musically when I realized what had happened. Lock yourself in a closet if need be, but at least try vocals when you play. It won't take long and you'll realize that you will be able to tune your voice the same as your guitar.
I’m Sooo glad you are using my channel to heal. Sooo sorry for your loss. I love that you are using music to get through and I am very humbled and happy to be a part of that. Thanx for sharing, take care and god bless
Another easy song to add to the list. Easy to sing too. Play it in the key that fits your voice the best! Also, fit your own strum to how you're singing it.
Quiero que sepas que gracias!! A usted.... querido profesor aprendi a tocar la guitarra.. y las canciónes que siempre me gustaron y que gracias a sus vídeos aprendí
thanks Marty. Discovered your site a few months ago. I have since picked up several songs for my repertoire. I love your collection. Keep up the great work.

Marty, love your tutorials and been watching them for ages and you’ve brought me on so much.Just one constructive criticism for a real learner, which I once was.You say sometimes I play the G like this .... and sometimes like this ... , which is fine, but I think if you tell your students that in this song I will play it like this ...,it would be much easier to follow for a novice player.Anyway your still doing a great job, keep it going mate.
You are very welcome, good luck with it. I'm glad i could help in your learning. thanx for tuning in. Hey, I'm trying to reach 100k subscribers so please spread the word about my channel, it would be greatly appreciated
I like u Marty. Not ur best rendition, but semi functional. RUclips guitarists are going to hate on everything. Play it out of E. E5>c#m intro E5>A5>c#m>A5>B5>E5 verse. You can totally campfire strum It if the picking pattern is too much. Just gotta get the bass notes
Happy to find a version with chords I can play. I am pretty new guitar player and can’t always see what your hands are doing… do you have this written out anywhere so I know which chord is played when?
Thanx, I'm glad. Cheers back my friend. Hey I am trying reach 100k subscribers, please pass the word along about my channel to your buds, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx for tuning in, Take care and Happy Holidays to you and yours.

@@partymartyeasyguitartunes1711 no problem man I got songs like that too that I learned a certain way a long time ago and I ain't changing. I don't ever get to jam with anybody anymore anyway. Those the staves girls that sing it play it your way I think. They sound like the sirens from o brother doing im on fire. Accidently heard them after a John prine song I was jamming along to RUclips. Then your video came through after them. I may try to upload either Linda goes to Mars or that's the way the world goes round in a bit. You can give me shit on it if you want. Lol I'm old and don't care anymore.

luke short Thanx Luke, I'm aware of the proper key, but I transposed it to fit my vocal range as I explained in the vid. This is often done by experienced musicians who choose certain covers to perform. It's very effective and is a regular practice among all levels of working musicians and I find it easier to teach with the chords I have chosen for the average beginning guitar student, thanx for tuning in
That's fine pal. Im not tryng to be condescending in Any way and enjoyed the cover. Im a working musician myself but you in fact do not say at any point that you changed the key for your voice ( which is your choice ) you simply say it's 4 chords and the first chord is G .... And so on .... so any 'beginner' is essentially learning incorrect chords. That's was all I was saying because( as I'm sure you agree) there are a lot of videos on RUclips giving wrong info. Peace
I stand corrected, I usually do mention in my vids when I transpose chords for a tune, however, I didn't in this one, for that I apologize. Having said that there are no wrong chords my friend, as a player of music you do what works for you and that arrangement works for me, which is what I am teaching. I also do that song in drop D, but I think it's a little easier to teach the novice player to play it out of G. To each his own I guess. I can say that there are many vids out there on covers of a whole list of songs in several different keys and I say that's great!! Whatever works for you, who am I to judge, as long as your enjoying it and it sounds good, shouldn't that be all that matters, just my 2 cents, thanx for tuning in just the same.
You have that vibe , That at the end of a party where everyone’s drunk and passed out, only you and that one other dude sit jamming out listening to you play… that dude is me.
I have never seen a teacher as good as this fella….so straightforward and easy! Well done sir! 🇨🇦
Appreciate you, I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos!
i hope someday i'll be confident enough in my singing to sing this in front of people but until then i'll keep playing along with you marty thanks so much.
That's how you gain confidence, practice as much as you can and then share your gift with othwers. Good luck and take care
I would not stand in front of the class and give book reports in school. but if you put an instrument between us I'm good
Alcohol helps!!
Thank u for this. It’s beautiful. In honor of my soul mate that passed, I’ve learned the guitar, and it’s therapy for me. Your tutorials are perfect:)

Secret Garden is my favorite by Bruce, but this one is my second favorite. GREAT!
Another easy song to add to the list. Easy to sing too. Play it in the key that fits your voice the best! Also, fit your own strum to how you're singing it.
Absolutely!! to each his own I always say as long as it doesn't ruin the song.
That was badass... great voice I hope to sing this one day to my family.... thanks brother..

Not totally in line with Springsteen's politics but, yes, possibly the greatest living songwriter.

Suggestion: Same chords .. capo on the 2nd Fret - closer to the key the Springsteen played it in originally.
Thanks for the tutorial .. great song :)
