Did a trial and error run wrapping with the precut pieces. Messed up horribly but I decided to change the color I wanted anyways so ordered a roll instead to try it again. Thanks for the video hopefully this time it comes out great
Thanks for the information and positive vibes. Going to wrap my smaller pieces this morning. May 4, 2020 Safe ride from the Navy girl in Williamsburg, Virginia.
I’m going to be wrapping my extra set of panels. I started one, was almost done (I could see the finish line) and then a rip and a wrinkle that turned into another rip... so I peeled it off and ordered a couple of other pieces (kit) to help, as well as additional wrap for any other mishaps. Yours looks great!
Thanks! This wrap is not any particular brand (certainly not the popular ones). I'd be curious to test one of those bigger brands and see if it was any easier.
Looks great, one question. I would like to see how much overlap there is on the edges to help hold the wrap on. The accent pieces almost look like there isn’t an overlap.
Great Video!! That's a cute color too. Wrapping definitely sounds like a task! Thanks chileeeee tbe tips and links in case I decide to try this one day!😎
I had my son in law do some for me in the same color. He doesn't get much time off, so I want to try and do some myself. I just don't know what all parts I can do.
I really really like the way you wrapped your bike. It looks like you wrapped certain panels and left the others black. I have a 2021 900 I just bought used. But none of the panels are shiny like yours. Did you wrap them to make them look like that ? Mine are a sort of mat with tiny bumps, not smooth.
@@RykerChick lol..I have to buy the bike first..I just took the safety class last Sunday and now I'm hooked. Going to go to the dealers on the 11th and see what happens.
Great job! I got my bags trimmed up and looking almost professional and the inset panel on the hood (the gray part on yours). Oh but those ugly as hades yellow side panels! Good lord they are giving me a fit! Did you wrap them in a single piece each, or multiples?
I'm ready to wrap that panel. I tried, but had to walk away. Ordered more vinyl. BTW, I like your saddle bag that's placed on the left of your Ryker, can you please tell me what brand is it? Thank you!
hi, I was wondering if you used any adhesive sprays for the hood parts or any parts with plastic where the vynil is harder to have stick on properly??? thanks in advance
Wow! Please don't give wrap advice if you wrap like that. I own a detail and wrap shop. I have been trained by 3M, Avery, KPMF, Oracal and Vivvid. Wrap should not need so much heat. Maybe you don't see your flaws, but there are so many.

Great tips! You did a nice job and the wrap is very tastefully done.
I like that you said perfect isn't important
It's so important to give yourself some grace with this process. Worth it in the end! :)
Love the wrap!!! I had mine wrapped in hot pink on the same areas you did yours, in addition to the front.
I won a compete wrap kit from RykerWraps. Just waiting on warmer weather to tackle it. I will only be doing selected panels.
Congrats! I’ve heard great things about Ryker Wraps. 😊
Ryker Chick, Great Job, Looks Really Nice.
I'm considering a similar color shift wrap. Vinyl wrap over other choices for the same reasons you mentioned. Looks great!
Thank you! 😀
Bought materials but have not wrapped it yet. Can't wait!
Hood accents are amazing! Cool vid! Thanks for this!
Thanks for watching! 😊

DIY you did a great job, with the sections that you wrapped 👍
Thank you so much 😀
Looks great! Trying to decide if I want to wrap a few parts on my Sea-to-Sky. I probably don’t have enough patience. Lol! 😂

Thank you! There is definitely a learning curve to vinyl wrap. Best of luck to you!
Looks good. I got a full wrap on my Spyder. I had a shop do it. It's a lot of work and if you don't have a garage it can get tough.
Thank you! Yes, I'm not sure I'd have the patience to do a full wrap myself.
I was just looking at that color!! Looks amazing! 💜
Since you have never done something like that before a very good job it looks good. Keep the videos coming we enjoyed them👍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍
Thanks! Will do! 😀
LOVE how it turned out!!! Looks great 👍 love the contrast of the colors ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Great Vid! Color choice is very cool. I especially like the hood accents.
Thank you! 😀
Well done on the wrap. It looks really great 👍 Cool jumper slogan 😎
Thanks Michael! 😀
Not bad, I have a 2019 Spyder F3S that I just started customizing couple months ago. I'm about to do a wrap job soon myself
Heat is key! I did mine as well purchased on Amazon?ine is orange camo 🤗. Also 3m is the best vinyl. Great video
Awesome! Yes...we were definitely not using enough heat during the first trial periods. SO much wasted vinyl. haha!
Thanks for the Amazon suggestion
I put some wrap on my F3 - more expensive wrap - thanks
Thanks! This wrap is not any particular brand (certainly not the popular ones). I'd be curious to test one of those bigger brands and see if it was any easier.
that looks great love the color choice
Very helpful tips and your bike looks great.
Thank you so much! 😊
Looks great, I never had the courage to tackle it!
Thank you! There's definitely a learning curve to it. The good news is that it's easy to remove and start fresh. It's very forgiving. 😀
Awesome job mate... It looks do good!!!!
Thank you so much! I'm happy with how it turned out. :)
So cool! Luv how you wrapped certain panels for the contrast. Looks Amazing!❤👍😁
Thank you! 😊
Excellent video, great tips. We'll be doing my r t
Great helpful video. Love the detail!
Thank you! 😊
Great job love the look.
Looks great, one question. I would like to see how much overlap there is on the edges to help hold the wrap on. The accent pieces almost look like there isn’t an overlap.
Great question. Not much at all. Maybe 1/4” or so overlap.
My panels are yellow, so I found I had to do an overlap to the backside of my panels. The yellow is relentless and wants to be seen. LOL
Great Video!! That's a cute color too. Wrapping definitely sounds like a task! Thanks chileeeee tbe tips and links in case I decide to try this one day!😎
Thank you! Yes, definitely a learning curve to it, but kind of fun once you get a rhythm down.
Very good video. Thanks
Awesome job
One nice scooter!! 🥇🥇🥇🥇
Looks GREAT!
Thanks! 😀
Great Job!!
Thank you! :)
That is awesome nice job.
Thank you! 😀
Very nice do get back to me of what kind of wrap
I had my son in law do some for me in the same color. He doesn't get much time off, so I want to try and do some myself. I just don't know what all parts I can do.
Awesome job thanks for the input. Did you take off to trim? Thinking if I trim on top the red is still going to show in crack.
Beautiful!!!
looks good .. you saved like 800 bucks.. great video !!!
Thank you! 😀
Thabks for this info! I plan to do my f3s. Question. Where or how did you cut the excess parts of the wrapp at?
Nice job

Go for it! You've got this! 🙂

Great tutorial. 👍🏼
Thank you! 😊
@@RykerChick looks good, too!
Great job! What did you use to cut the edges?
Looks nice and the bike lol from Australia

Outstanding! Did you get any quotes prior to diving in?
Looks great. How many ft of vinyl did u purchase? I’m thinking about wrapping mines matte attack grey

What kind of seat do you have it looks thick my tail bone be hurting

thats the exact same wrap i used... Now I have to change it
Lol...twinsies! 😆
@@RykerChick you did a much better job than me lol
That's right get away from my bike. What dimensions size wrap did you used. Did one panel a decided to stop.
These rolls of vinyl come in a 1 foot x 10 foot roll. Luckily, the front panels are just narrow enough that one piece was wide enough to cover. 🙂
How much viynal wrap would i need to wrap ryker
tip 1 you plasidip, no heat need faster and easier
