Yochai Wyss Yeah, the overall lyrics could have been more creative but the chorus makes up for it. The Diggy Diggy Hole song is a true dwarf song, though. Leave it to a group of gamers to come up with something like that :P.

I can't express enough how SICK this song is. Dwarves are my favorite fantasy race and this game was a friggin masterpiece in Dwarf storytelling.
there are more books following tungdil, boindil and others. I've read 1-3 and they have been really good. I hope that crown art will pick this up again. the game was really refreshing to live it through anew :)

When metal meets symphony orchestra, it is heaven to my ears.
Absolutely, Blind Guardian is great for the few songs they do in this format, but we need more. Antti Martikainen has had some really awesome albums recently. Northern Steel, Hymn of the High Seas, Sonic Savior and Carminia Gloria, but we still need more. This is a genre that needs to be explored.

LynIoxI No. I will never let a game ruin my imagination. I spen so many hours with those books, that I just cannot look at the way other imagined the characters. A quick peek is fine, but I have a very specific picture of for example Tungdil in my mind, that is completely different from what the developers created here.
and so did I. And I was not disappointed. Not at all! Have you been following on facebook? They let the community of the book decide what the characters should look like.

Brandon Sanderson. If you're able to see this video. I really hope we see Blind Guardian doing the soundtrack for the Stormlight film adaptation.
Oooooohhh! Sanderson already knows Blind Guardian from their Wheel of Time song. He commented on that and used an excerpt in a video. Obviously the Bards are underused in fantasy cinema. Question is how to blend it with more background-ish music, but at least a theme/outro song should work really well!

Probably because the soundtrack including this song is part of the digital deluxe edition and if they would put it on apple podcast or spotify, less people would buy the more expensive version of the game I guess.

No THQ is not back. Nordic games just changed their name to THQ nordic.
They did snatch up much but it isnt the original THQ but expect some sequels and new games in their old franchises. Darksiders is likely to get a sequel likely already in production.

I just finished playing. Great in-game easter eggs for Blind Guardian and a monumental song in the credits. It's a great pity that Blind Guardian recorded only one track.
I really hope a version of this will be on the upcoming orchestral album.

there is a quest about Wacken :-D but i dont know if BG has an ingame performance at the end of this quest
i completed the quest, it's pretty fun but you only get like a 30 second snipit of the song. kinda lame

It's not a LOTR album anymore, it's an Orchestral album with a "Lord of the Rings-ish story" direct quote from Hansi. It was GOING to be a full on LOTR album, but he felt it would be far too much to do. So they are working with a German author instead.

yes they are! The originals are in German i think but they have been translated in many languages. The author is quite known with series like ''the dwarves'' or ''the elves'' in which he has written many book for each! :)

The first 3 are really well done but the 4th book feels really forced and the 5th feels like an apology for the 4th.
