Switch is currently 282 euro in Europe. Compared to the 350 euro for unavailable oleds right now. I might consider getting the V2 one as a new switch owner possibly
When he attempted to slide the joycon upwards instead of downward into the switch I knew the mario in the background was a sham lol... but still great review
Haha, I've had a Switch since day one (BEFORE, technically, as I reviewed it in 2017 too) and I don't think I've ever done that before - so of course it happened on camera 🤦♂️ - Dom
As a person who has never owned a Nintendo Switch before, I chose to purchase this Nintendo Switch OLED. The OG Switch costs $399.99 CAD and the OLED Switch costs $445.99 CAD. I thought the $50 difference wouldn’t really affect me so I just went with this. I did end up paying $499.48 CAD afterwards due to taxes 😭😭😭 but anyways, I hope I wouldn’t be disappointed.
I play my Switch through my television 90% of the time. Because I play mostly games online using my U.S.B. Ethernet Adapter, (since my Super Smash Brothers: Brawl days). But I'll get the Nintendo: Switch O.L.E.D. still.
Ive had a OLED phone for over 7 years, I have not seen any noticeable "OLED Burn in." ever, and my phone gets used a lot more that the Switch would. Basically if you do get the OLED dont worry about it, the amount of years (day upon day with the console on) doesn't translate to how much the console screen actually get used.
I believe all of the official accessories will still work fine, though I'm not 100%. Struggling to think what wouldn't though, perhaps other than skins? - Dom
All I got say speak with your wallet if you want the OLED to be $300 as the current Switch with the same internal specs instead of $350. Nintendo will shift prices if it's not selling. The Skyward Sword (10 year old game) at Best Buy is now $40 now after 2 months being on the market at $60 back on July 16 2021. Nintendo fixed the launch Nintendo 3DS from $250 to $170 after few months.

I wouldn’t t blame Nintendo so much as id blame the postal services ! In sure it left the factory prestine!
That was a great review for Nintendo Switch OLED model. Anyway, I'm stick with my Nintendo Switch Lite.

Getting this asap! Selling the old switch, why wouldn't you?
You get at least €150-€200 from selling your old switch
Yeah, I think if you can still get a good price for selling your original then the upgrade makes a lot more sense! - Dom

Nice. I'm staying with my Original
I think that's probably the right call - Dom
Nice vid!
Don't have a switch. Was hoping to get this one.
I was able to buy 2 from Target. Keeping one stored away and one for myself
Nice video
OLED burn in, scalpers, same SoC & joycon drift makes it not worth it for me as a non switch owner, Getting the v2 model.

The regular Switch is $350 and the oled $515 in Sweden.
Oh wow! Yeah, I know across Europe the pricing gap is bigger than it seems to be in the UK/US - Dom

I pick v2 😒💢
The box More small than original v1 or v2
I *think* it's smaller than either, though I only ever had the v1 so I can't say for sure - Dom
Hiiii
The 0.1 is nothing meaningful??? There are plenty of accessories that will not fit/work with that extra 0.1 inches.
