As for that stupid woman saying that we all need to learn the "official language of this country", little does she realize that this is the ONLY country in the world that actually DOESN'T HAVE ANY "OFFICIAL LANGUAGE". For ex., 1 of my best buds, whom I love like a brother, speaks Urdu b/c his family's originally from Pakistan -- even though he was originally born in Brooklyn. And does it bother me?? NO WAY!!! In fact, he's been teaching me a little bit of his language.
In this country and every where else there are people of every island, We should respect each other though matter what race color, denomination or creed

I agree.I am mixed race And I have been told to go back to Africa on the bus twice by this crazy lady I was born in London area in the UK and I speak with a strong English accent

Great video speaking Spanish is a great skill to have in customer service I live in Texas lots of people speak Spanish here Texas was once part of Mexico after all my local store has a lot of people speaking both Spanish and English people should really have more compassion for immigrants nobody has the right to dehumanize them the Statue of Liberty says "give us your tired your poor your huddled masses"
Where I grew up Spanish was important to converse with many, not to mention I also had Polish and French spoken in my home. I wish I could still speak as fluently as I could as a child. I'm working on it though and it's coming back slowly but surely.

Good point and I am glad that you're open minded, but I would like to ask you a question. Where does the type of americans that have a boot up their ass regarding latinos and hispanics draw the line? Lets say that we have two incidents in your part of Texas. In the first incident we have a white american who's grandfather has moved to Belize and has gotten married to local woman, well this person are in public place while talking to their grandfather on the phone by the end of the call their step-grandmother want to exchange a couple of words, how ever she's not that good in english so our white american person switch to spanish. But what would if any of the border wall supporters would happen to be around during the latter half of the call, what would the odds be that this MAGA supporter would lash out verbally over something as miniscule as spanish being spoken? In the 2nd incident a group of tourists from Spain are having a conversation in spanish while enjoying a meal in a local restaurant in town, but again what the odds be that some mexican hater would immediately assume that the caucasian people at the table next to theirs who's speaking spanish while eating would have to be mexican migrants that haven't gotten accustomed to american life, and would starting ranting about the same old tired bullcrap about "this is america speak english"
And Emma Lazarus who wrote the inscription was a Jew and I think she was an immigrant too

I was told by my elderly resident in a Nursing Home that he saw me came out of the boat because I don't have money to buy plane ticket. But he himself is also an immigrant. Life is a choice and chose what is right and be compassionate to other people. Let's not be miserable just because life is low, be hopeful all the time. God is good🙏❤️

When Karen said "We speak English in this country" she shouldve looked at her and slowly said "I am speaking English." I actually enjoyed having a bilingual at my job. It made my customers happier, too

First of all I was born in New York and my parents taught me to love language all of them you have any idea how hard it is to learn English as an adult it's extreme hard

@@charlycealanadike1576Exactly, & besides, Spanish has actually been spoken in this country long before English -- mostly in the Southwest. That's how the state we call "New Mexico" got its name -- from the COUNTRY where the Spanish-speaking people came from

I do not care if you speak your home language to each other. But if here and you speak to me, use English. If you expect me to learn your language in my country, not going to happen. I will not learn another language to make you feel comfortable.

My add on:
Karen attempted to sue the store for her job application being wrongfully denied, but failed to do so when she was turned away by every lawyer she attempted to hire. Maria posted about Karen and her behavior on social media, which resulted in Karen not getting a job anywhere.
I do have friends that speak Spanish to friends or family members. I also know they speak English with a Hispanic accent.
Everyone should be treated with Respect no matter if there legally or illegally. People can speak whatever language they want that karen is so racism and disgusting 😮😮😮

AFTERMATH IDEA:
Maria's job skyrocketed overtime (Due to her character and how kind she is to the customers) which made her get repeatedly promoted to higher position. Eventually, she became the official CEO of the store business.
Shortly after the incident, Karen tried to file a lawsuit against the store and Maria for slander and emotional distress. However, it was later discovered that the store had CCTV cameras which captured every bit of Karen's racist actions and how she treated Maria. Because of this, also due to Karen having zero evidence backing her claim, the judge dismissed Karen's case and ordered her to pay Maria and the store $52,000 for emotional distress.
The CCTV footage was also posted online and it went viral, causing Karen to be blacklisted, shamed, and sometimes harassed everywhere she went. Due to being blacklisted, Karen was forced to get a job at a local homeless shelter, where it contained mostly minorities. It was there that Karen was forced to learn how to accept and treat everybody as humans, regardless of ethnicity.
That's what is called justice maybe now she can learn compassion for others and stop hating what she doesn't understand
Became homeless and could not get a job flipping burgers as a beginning crewperson at McDonald's

Go work in a field picking fruit for 12 hours a day if you think they are taking our jobs.
It's sad and unfortunate, but there are a lot of Karen's and Darren's like that🤬

The way Karen went through the interview was like: I could do that mess in my nightmares that I’ve had in my childhood pasts.
And that woman would be part of my nightmares, b/c I'd always see her whenever I'm wide awake
Outcome Karen’s racist behavior got her kicked out of the store and was never allowed to step foot in the store again
And no blame allowed for her either!
When she tried to sue the store for what she called “unfair treatment”, the court ruled in favor of the store supervisor and Karen was banned from ever applying from another store, causing her to eventually lose her home and family
Ironically her name is actually Karen 😂😂😂

Again. The scripts lately have been repetitive. How many times do the actors have to say the same thing over and over again for minutes before the next part happens.
I don't get what her problem is. I'm sure if she asked politely for something, they might've been willing to help her, or point her to someone who can. But her attitude throughout the video was rude, racist, condescending. In other words, uncalled for. She shouldn't be allowed to work anywhere if she's not willing to work with a diverse group of people, Mexican, African-American, Moslem, LGBTQ+, etc.
