I have a tech?? ... I have a very special stone. it is a piece of gorgeous charoite and I'm scared making a wire wrap ring> I mostly do pendants and earrings. I'm wondering if these are more Delicate/ if there is a danger of the stone falling out etc when making this??>> I have been making jewelry for over 20 yrs. I have worked with beads, bones, stones, Crystals..I also make tons of random crafts etc miniature diorama scenes..paint. sculpt etc ..I heard you say its tricky with polished stone. the charoite I have is Polished . semi square and about 3/4 inch on one side..almost an inch on the other..(semi square) and about 3mm thick...would you say a ring is or isnt a good choice for this stone?? (I realize it is kind of an odd ? but figured you probably have More experience making rings with stones than I do. (I've done straight wire rings and beaded rings..but never wire wrapped a slippery stone.. THANK YOU for sharing your talent and a well made video...Any feedback would be very appreciated.

Just remember....every time you wrap the wire around the wring loops of the ring, you are MAKING IT SMALLER IN SIZE! The wire wrapped around takes up room, reduces the size of the ring. It will be tighter.
