Thanks so much for watching. I am very grateful for your beautiful selection of crystals and your deep knowledge of their properties. I am lucky to live in Montreal to frequent the shop in person. 😍
Just remember....every time you wrap the wire around the wring loops of the ring, you are MAKING IT SMALLER IN SIZE! The wire wrapped around takes up room, reduces the size of the ring. It will be tighter.
Great video! After waiting almost 6 weeks for someone to make a ring for me on a commission project, it made me curious...now I know, I could have done it myself. Well, everything happens for a reason! Can’t wait to try this .
You need to remember that person doing your commission probably had a dozen orders AHEAD of you, and possibly a family and job to deal with too. Custom commissions are not for people in a rush. May I suggest Amazon prime?
wow, this video was perfect because these just completely blew up on tiktok (the teens) and as one of them I've been looking for how to make them myself. thank you!

Where do you get an unmarked ring cone to wrap the wire on when starting? I would like to buy an unmarked one. I have a marked one, not too good. Thanks Ron
Hi Ron. Sorry I'm just seeing this now. Here is a link to the wooden ring cone in my Amazon Affiliate shop: www.amazon.com/dp/B08X6NZZSD?ref=exp_heatherboydwire_dp_vv_d
Would it look weird/bad if the copper wire were to be melted onto the stone and then sanded to make it smoother and for sure lock the stone into place? Just curious and looking for suggestions. Thanks! Wonderful video!
I have tiny rough green tourmaline stones. I would like to make a ring. But I have no ideas. Any chance you could do a video on using tiny stones? Loved this video. Thank you.🙂
Thank you. I used Artistic silver colored non-tarnish copper wire. I know the Artistic brand also makes a brass wire...that would work too, but might tarnish.
Hi Sophia: This design is adjustable: ruclips.net/video/dvPzgZ8kad8/видео.html You can also wrap a stone as in this video and finish the back like this: ruclips.net/video/wM30wbR2jCc/видео.html
Good question. I've never used glue with crystals. I guess you could put a few drops in places that aren't visible. Apparently glue is not harmful for crystals' healing properties. Hope this helps.

Sorry for what?
Does anyone know where to buy this wire in-store? Thanks :)
You can find the wires at Michaels. Apparently in the US Joanne's has it!
What type of wire do you use?? Is it dead soft, or just regular wire?
I usually use Beadalon Artistic Copper tarnish resistant wire

do you by any chance know where you can buy the wire to make these rings? love this!!
You can buy the Artistic copper wire on Amazon and Etsy.
Great video! Is it tinned copper? Have you worked well with brass wire? Blessings!
Thank you. I used Artistic silver colored non-tarnish copper wire. I know the Artistic brand also makes a brass wire...that would work too, but might tarnish.
Heather Boyd Wire :thank you! Yes! Artistic wire is a very good brand. Thanks for sharing your knowledge💎💜
Is there such a thing as a long piece of wire already in a scallop pattern one can wrap around the stone? Like ruffles or bezel or something, 😶!
Hi Ma. I think I've seen designs like that. I did a quick search and found this: ruclips.net/video/HQaHpK8gfr0/видео.html
Do you know if I can make this with a gold plated wire that won’t tarnish?
Hi Mylah. I use the Artistic tarnish resistant copper that comes in many colours including gold.

I love this so much! I wanna make some myself, but where can you get these crystals ? My parents are the cheapest humans on earth :( lemme know !
I buy my crystals locally in Montreal. You can also use seaglass or regular stones. Add a coat of clear nail polish to make them shiny!
I got the stones at a crystal shop in Montreal. I've even seen stones at some Dollar Stores. Good luck.

Do you wrap pearls with no holes in it?
I've never tried that Debbie. What size pearls?
I can’t locate the tutorial for making the cone? You said you’d link it but I don’t see anything? Please help 😞
Here you go: ruclips.net/video/0TDiiAVqoVk/видео.html
How thick is the wire?
You can use 18 gauge for these rings.
Where do you get the real crystals from xx
I buy them locally in Montreal but you can get them online from one ofthe shops I buy at called Crystal Dreams. crystaldreamsworld.com/
i was wondering what the best “mm” would be to make these rings? 0.4mm/0.8mm/1mm? I don’t want the wire too be too easily broken! Xxx
1mm would be the best as you want a thicker wire to hold the stone well.
Great vid. Question...can you.not glue the crystal in place for a little stability? Unless this disturb the crystal some way?
Good question. I've never used glue with crystals. I guess you could put a few drops in places that aren't visible. Apparently glue is not harmful for crystals' healing properties. Hope this helps.
Oh thanks so much for your speedy reply. Yes it does!!!
Are these real crystals?
They are semi precious stones
Do you sell these
No I don't sell them...just do tutorials!
i am using pipe cleaner wire...
Have fun with it!
I don’t recommend wire wrap because back then when I use to try to Wire wrap, it never stays in place and it keep bending
You should use a thicker or harder wire. 18g works well the wrap the stones.
I’m here in 2021 trying to see how to make my rose quartz heart 💖 into a ring
Good luck and let me know how you do!
Wow mine looks terrible 😆
Oh no Kenzie. It does take some practice!
Or some reason it doesn't ever work for me
It is tricky to get the stone to stay in place. Try a rough stone or sea glass.
