  • Hi there! Me again. In today's video I am testing out Lomography's brand new LomoChrome Color '92 film stock. This stock is said to be a completely original 400 iso color negative film. I shot this film at box speed, and I would say that it behaves more like a 200 or maybe even 100 iso film. It seems like it definitely needed more light than I was giving it during this test. Other than that, this film renders scenes with stronger blue and green casts than Kodak film stocks. It also has high levels of grain which I got to see plenty of in my test. I personally like the look and I'm glad there is another option out there in the world of color negative film. LomoChrome Color '92 offers a much different look than the other film stocks on the market. This grungy look is one that I think would work really well for street photography. Let me know if you have shot LomoChrome Color '92 yet and what you think of the film and of my test. That's it for this one. Bye now!

      The way this film stock captures blues in the natural light is stunning. I'd shoot people with it or try it with landscape. ✨

    The colours are just beautiful! They definitely remind me of 80s/90s family photos, especially when underexposed a bit. But I would also agree that this film stock could need a bit more light depending on the scene.

    2:36, 4:27 and 6:30 are easily my favorites personally, the level of grunge hits particularly hard and makes this feel like a photo from a different era much more than usual. great video as always! personally i'd definitely use this film stock a ton but that's just because of my weird preferences lol
    also 3:03 GT-R!!

      Glad you liked the photos! I definitely want to try to shoot this film at 200 iso and see what I get! I bet the grungy look would be perfect with a little more light! And yes! That GT-R has been there for at least a year. I’ve got two pics of it now lol

    Quick tip from the hot humid south. You probably already know this. If your gear is cold from being inside an air conditioned space, put it in a zip lock bag and set it outside in a protected place like a garage until it reaches outdoor temp and it will be less likely to fog up.

    Thanks for the video. To call this stuff grainy is an understatement. Also, the dynamic range is very poor for a negative film. You have to wonder what Lomo is going for with this.

    • @ReimannPembroke
      @ReimannPembroke  Год назад

      Thanks for watching! It is definitely very grainy at 400. More than I was expecting. I think this film would perform considerably better at 200! I can’t wait to try another roll and see how it does with more light!
