This is the only reason Kirito appears young when the arc starts when we meet a young Eugeo and Alice. While they both are young and still growing, Kirito is just in a specifically created player avatar like how Asuna using the goddess Stacia account, not an actual goddess, just an account avatar with limited admin privileges. The time dilation difference between underworld and the real world was so the world would establish itself and the civilization made up of copied baby fluctlights would age and live on their own. This doesn’t in any way affect Kirito’s fluctlight. He is still a young adult when he uses the young avatar but the difference is that he has his memories blocked, which is important to note because they could only block his memories since his memories make up his core, what makes a person a person.
