I use the Esker trousers too. I have the Altuta waterproof trousers that seem very similar to the Esker but not yet worn so cannot comment on how they fare on the bike

You are lucky to be able to ride bridleways where you are, South Wales trails under water, lucky have loads of gravel in the forests.
loved the descents, if only gopro would stabilise better in the shade. I hope newer models work better in uk gloomy weather :p
