Hi Neil, not seen McQ in decades, you made a good point with the car roll in The Fall Guy 🧐 Here’s To Life sounds interesting 👌 I have Breezy in my collection but not seen it in a few years 🤔 cool video mate, lots of films for me to look up 👍 lots to look forward to with your box of goodies 😃 take care mate👍😃👍
Awesome video Neil 😀🍿🎸🎶 Not heard of majority of these movies; will have to add some titles to my watchlist; that ‘Genesis II’ sounds like a masterpiece 😂👍 I heard of ‘Breezy’; but trying to delve more into Clint’s filmography 🤠
Nice list of movies. had a few of them on video. That western was a good find. Went to a local thrift store yesterday and landed one dvd, then as I went to pay I saw the lady was getting some more ready to put out. She let me have a look first and I scored another 28! all at just $1 each, including expendables 4, black phone, and some other sequals. Nice. Keep up the good work
Thanks, Peter. Hmm, I’m not sure about Masquerade’s availability in the UK. My copy is a Kino Lorber release and possibly an out of print one. I love many of Basil Dearden’s movies but wouldn’t say this was one of his best. It does have a good rope bridge climax though that makes you wonder if Spielberg saw it before making Temple of Doom.
Ah, I didn’t know that, thanks. I saw David Cassidy in concert with Sheena Easton years back in Vegas. Kay Lenz is very cute in Breezy. Like Holden, I probably wouldn’t have complained too much if she just invited herself in
I've seen Bartleby (got it on Blu Ray from Indicator) and despite it being a rather odd film I still enjoyed it. Not seen or even heard of most of the others.
I have been to Notre Dame three times, the last time was less than a year before the fire. That sounds like a film that would interest me. I would go with a friend of mine every time there was a new John Wayne movie when I was a youngster. I saw McQ at the theatre. I will have to look for Wonderful Life as it's good to see that Walter Slezak is in it. Did you take tea at The Empress? Robert Ryan makes every film better. A nice set of movies with the only ones I have seen being McQ and A Hard Day's Night.
Thanks, Randy. Oh wow, that’s interesting you have been to Notre Dame 3 times. I have only been once but didn’t get to go inside. In that case I think you may find the film of interest. There were such tight, narrow stone staircases for the firefighters to navigate and there’s some really fascinating scenes about attempts to rescue and preserve some of the precious artefacts….Seeing Wayne movies in the theatre would have been an experience. I know his late career cop thrillers aren’t his finest but I still get a kick out of them….Good catch on Walter Slezak, I should have mentioned him….Ive not had tea at the Empress but they did used to have a curry lounge which I once got to go to and was fantastic. All the best
Fifty Kino-Lorber titles? FIFTY????? Well Neil, it's official: you've lost your mind just like the rest of us! Looking forward to the box opening! Nice group of films here, most of which I haven't seen. I must respectfully disagree regarding McQ, which I saw recently. I thought it looked just like a typical cop/detective TV show from that era. Even the music sounded the same. I like John Wayne and there were other good actors, but I felt they were sort of walking through the picture. The car chase, to me, was just another car chase. Breezy is a really good little film, and it's too bad Kay Lenz didn't get more opportunities in her career. Wonderful Life, Here's To Life and Bartleby all sound interesting. I've seen a few Cliff Richard films, and I really like the guy. That film about Notre Dame sounds fascinating. Thanks for sharing these titles, Neil!!
57 actually but I’ll explain that madness soon, it was a rare opportunity to get them at a bargain price….I hear you on McQ, I’ve perhaps (well probably) over praised it but I’m guessing you haven’t seen The Fall Guy and the main point I was making is that both films do a beach run that ends with a car roll but The Fall Guy is so heavily edited to show multiple angles from inside and outside the car that you’d have no idea the stuntman just broke a world record. Better car chases and action for sure in other 70s thrillers but I just like that you can see those sequences play out from a long shot and find them more thrilling….Lenz was definitely cute in Breezy, someone else has just commented she was married at one time to David Cassidy! Thanks for watching, Mike :)
The only one I have is Breezy. I think it's a good movie. I have heard of A Minute To Pray, A Second To Die! and of Genesis 11, but I don't believe I have seen either. Here's To Life looks like a good one. Great list of movies Neil. Can't wait to see your box of movies too.

Thanks, Sam. Clint’s filmography will definitely take some time to go through but you’ll discover some greats. Thanks for watching

Exciting when you get to be the first to go through new arrivals. 28 titles, wow!
Nice selection of films. I always wanted to see Masquerade but thought it wasn't on physical media at all.
Thanks, Peter. Hmm, I’m not sure about Masquerade’s availability in the UK. My copy is a Kino Lorber release and possibly an out of print one. Great recommendations Neil, the only one there I’ve heard of is Bartleby because I’ve seen the early 2000’s remake (which I really enjoy). 😊
Thanks, Jodie. Ah yes, you’re a Crispin Glover fan. I haven’t seen the remake but imagine he’s interesting casting for the role
Over 50 kino titles 💿💿💿💿👈🏻😲 good video Neil mate 👍🏻
Those are coming soon. Hopefully you saw something of interest in this video. Cheers
@@neilsmoviechannel3199 I'm trying to be good and reduce my purchases lol it not going well 😞 lol 😆
Kay Lenz in Breezy was David Cassidy's first wife. David had 2 other marriages after Kay. Haven't seen Breezy yet.

You’ve said it, it’s odd but enjoyable nonetheless. Definitely one that you keep thinking about afterwards
A lot of interesting movies I don’t think I’ve ever heard of before and I might have to add to my list to check out
Thanks, Mike. Glad some sounded of interest

looking forward to the kino box, Neil
Thanks, coming soon. I’m guessing most will know less than 50% of them

Thanks, Lita. Good to hear you know Breezy….I’ll reveal what’s in the box soon. Have a good weekend
Love Breezy
Thanks for breezing onto the video to leave the first comment, much appreciated :)
I don't know any of those. 😥
Well it wouldn’t be much fun if you knew them all. Hopefully one or two of interest.
