I've met John Altman. He came into a shop I was working at 10 years ago...Honestly one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I won't say too much but I was going through a really tough time and he had been through similar and he gave me some amazing advice that will stay with me until the grave.
A really really lovely bloke.
I agree with everything you said about John Altman, June (Brown) was my dearest and oldest friend for 37 years until her passing, so I met John, a truly lovely person. and June, she was the dearest and most wonderful best friend I could have had, truly blessed to have her in my life, a truly beautiful human both inwardly and outwardly, and always gave such wonderful, sound advice.
The guy that is doing the naration sounds like the sort of guy Nick Cotton would happily give a kicking to.
I think most of us would, after hearing his voice.
What an amazing character he is an amazing actor
The most entertaining villain, and unlike Phil and Grant, he never hit his Ma, wanted to kill her but never did tho XD

The Drama channel edited out a lot of Nick’s dialogue! Do you have the scene where he breaks into a car and steals the car radio?
They softened him up after the year 2000 he seemed weaker

I always thought Nick was like Norman Bates in away and Dot was his mother Norma Bates .
This must be one of the most despicable characters ever created by the BBC. Nick Cotton murdered four people, including his own son indirectly, tried to kill his mother, was a bully, a racist thug, drug dealer and blackmailer. He had nothing going for him and his death wasn't mourned. BTW John Altman took a fantastic role.
I fogot to add Cotton was a fraudster, a pimp and a homophobe.

My favorite bad character cos Nick Cotton is the worst person out of all people on all soaps ever, nobody comes close. he feels no guilt, shame, remorse or sorrow in fact he's almost like a psychopath but probably not I dunno.

Yes but Nick had longevity. I think what made him so popular wasn’t only his evilness but the fact he’d disappear and reappear every couple of years. So we never got tired of him. Brilliant idea from the writers and producers. RIP June Brown
