Imo sneakiest what if in recently: What if D Wade didnt get injured in 2007. Man was on the way to being best in the league and that injury stripped him of some athlecism, he still was great (avg 30 in 09), but i believe we lost the real D Wade that year.

@@JackoVX I don't think that "what if injury" is something that are fun to watch, it just weird to see how Rose or Wade didn't get injured and then 30 second later, Kobe got a torn Achilles, Shaq played only 40-50 games,.... Personally, I think that kind of what if should be like this for example: "What if the 2014 season have no injury?" or "What if the 90's was played without injury?". If you want "never got injured", just let all the players in the leauge didn't have any injury, not just one particular player.

Milicic is notorious for his lack of work ethic, exemplified by his performance and attitude around 2007 EuroBasket, when he was suspended briefly for stating after match that he will "fuck official's daughter and wife", and reprimanded by '05 coach for showing up completely intoxicated for every morning training during the tournament. I happen to live in Serbia so I have a clear memory of both of these championships. To his credit, 2007 embarrassment could not be ascribed to him exclusively, due to astounding incompetence of everyone around him (Basketball Association in particular), but it's not like his performance was exemplary. People here (unfortunately) rather fancy him, but in my eyes he's the epitome of every unjust stereotype of Serbia and Eastern Europe in general : he's loud, not particularly bright, drunk every night and an obliviously staunch nationalist, which, if you know recent Serbian history, can cause an imaginary wall between you and rationality. And he looked like every low-profile gangster from '93-'98 Belgrade. I can go into much more detail if you wish.
