She’s not at fault. I’m a live sound engineer and they should never have even requested that she sing unassisted. That’s ridiculous and I’m sure against doctor’s orders. The blonde girl has a track accompanying her parts, yet the dark haired girl has to struggle through obvious throat problems. Lord knows she can sing.
It wasn't horrible. It's what happens when a band from 40 years ago plays their own songs. Everybody ages, I'm 40 and I'm not as sharp as I was 20 years ago. Frankly I thought the performance was fantastic; the girls shouldn't be so shy. Go listen to a Led Zeppelin concert from 1979, it ain't all rainbows and buttercups. Frankly, I'd go out on a limb and conjecture that most of the people shitting on this performance were brought up in the age of autotune and lip syncing. Go out in front of hundreds/thousands of people and perform without computers, backing tracks, autotune, lip syncing or anything else. Looking forward to your glorious performance.

Nine inch nails Trent Reznor is better this tour than he has been in years he's fucking phenomenal live and sold out so many fucking shows that they had to literally add more dates to each venue on the spot because there the lines were so goddamn long at each venue to get tickets this year. Hes still got it and still looks and performs amazingly while the human league just look like they stopped caring treats ago. It's not age or anything else. It's passion. And the human league clearly doesn't have tge passion anymore. No excuses dude. And I'm not being shitty it's just the fact. Don't start defending bands that clearly burned out and never reignited by saying that oh you try performing on Stage in front of thousands. That's no excuse. This band has performed much bigger shows than this, so stage fright is null and void.
The performance was fine. Whoever was doing sound for them should be fired. As for the singer who sang off key a little, I suspect she couldn’t hear herself in her monitor. Again, the sound guy’s issue.

Oakey could never sing in tune, He only got the job because Glen Gregory couldnt get the day off work at the undertakers where he worked to audition. I suppose is a really good thing we cant hear the backing vocal as what you can hear is atrociously flat and well out. I heard how bad this was and had to check it out. I am scared that I may have shortened my life by a day or two for the shame of actually watching half of this.
