I’ve been curious why runners pull out the signal scope before jumping on each geyser. Is the first for timing and the second for proper alignment to reach the ship? Thanks, and great run!
Both are for alignment. The first gives me the angle that I then hold until getting up onto the geyser, then align with a bit of the geometry, giving me the right position to enter the geyser from. The second gives me the angle for entering the geyser.
idea: selfie% take a selfie with every hearthian traveller selfies from the ship are allowed going to [redacted] not allowed run ends when all selfies are taken
It's to get the right alignments to enter the geyser from a specific position and angle in order to be launched up to the launchpad and not die on impact.
i really liked the part where he played the hit game outer wilds
I wish it was a hit game.

[spoilers for Outer Wilds base game]
By [redacted] do you mean Feldspar's camp or the Quantum Moon? Or something else?
@@benedekkoleszar1299 i assume it means the ending because you see them all together
That angle entering dark bramble is nuts!
Nice

Can you explain why you look at random places with the stethoscope at the beginning? Does it do anything?

How to drop a game in under 2 minutes: outer wilds
Why the whole geyser bit?
This run starts from new expedition, so we don't have the launch codes to take the elevator.
There's a certain angle required to make it safely to the launch pad and using the signalscope is the easiest way to position correctly
I tried to do that and the ship blew up
