A 1978 Goldwing is 1000cc. Its model number is GL1000. I restored one of these and a 1982 GL1100. Randakk's Cycle Shack has rebuild kits and videos for the carbs that are excellent. Great bike to ride! Smooth, comfortable, powerful and with the low center of gravity, surprisingly good handling. Lots of parts and information available online. Good luck with it!
