Excellent review as always man! Hopefully every Figuarts moving forward gets quality plastic and a matte finish like this figure has. Though the range in certain areas could be better, Tamashii Nations did a wonderful job engineering Orange Piccolo's articulation considering how large he is.
I got my Orange Piccolo today and he’s fantastic. Definitely deserves the spot in the top 10 of the year on your list! The shading really pops in person, too. I can’t help but think that the soft gi on OP and Beast Gohan would work better if they used a softer plastic like they did on Samurai Sword’s waist from the Chainsaw Man line (also got him today and he’s great).
I'm surprised to see Orange Piccolo is still shorter than Piccolo Daimao 😆 looks like a solid release, just wish he came with more accessories instead of another accessory for Gohan lmao
I think the issue isnt the gi hindering articulation. Its the body underneath. I noticed it on gohan in hand. So they got a good idea but it needs to be polished a bit. It looks great otherwise. This figure looks sooo damn good especially being a big fan of the form. Love everything about it. Hyped for my copy
I really like it and i have this guy preordered but i do have to say i wish they gave him this new form without the odd adjustments to his look. The change in number and position of muscle-pads on his forearms bothers me as does his ( and gohans ) lack of pointy boots. Its not dynamic enough to be new and exciting just noticabley perplexing. Also just now noticed he doesnt have claws in orange form? Its odd? Beyond that im very glad we have a new form and im glad its more physically distinct than just a change of color like golden freeza or super saiyan blue. Even the change in gohans hair shape is similarly new and fun. The size of this piccolo gives me hope for a semi perfect cell, dabura, lord slug, and super android 13
Would love to see a Super Super sized version of Orange Piccolo with battle dmg, an interchangeable missing arm and a dlc head for Gamma 2 with the big pupil-less eyes when he is charging down at Cell Max.
I really can‘t decide if I should get Piccolo or Gohan, they’re both great figures. They’ll really shoot up in price too I can imagine And also I really like your channel, your reviews are very high quality and it’s always a pleasure to watch them. Keep it up🔥

Definitely a huge improvement than Beast Gohan and the hips are significantly better than the Trunks 2.0, really love this form alot for Piccolo the extra gohan BAF part probably makes this Superhero Gohan the one of the most accessory figure ever, Still waiting on your other reviews for the Goku accessory pack, Kid Sasuke and Kid Naruto!
is it me? or the orange isn’t much of an orange??? also i would’ve like some “claw” pose hands, i feel its obligatory for Piccolo figures, specially to replicate the “Shenron gave me a hell of a bonus” pose
I'm surprised Tamashii haven't made a power awakening piccolo yet considering it would be a simple repaint and its the form he takes before he goes orange.

It's either wait or buy it at a 30 usd surplus from a scalper. I think I'll take the risk of missing out and wait. An over the counter release that sold out in preorders? This should easily get a reissue like First Form Frieza got IMO. We'll see.

Tamashii absolutely kills it when they make bigger figures. Super excited for King Cold and hopefully a Dabura if they ever get around to it!

Haha, nah, it’s just an educated guess you could say. They always seem to reissue certain figures a year after their intitial release
