In Part 1, join me onboard Ovation of the Seas for my very first international cruise since before the pandemic. This is also my first time onboard a Quantum Class ship, so I was incredibly excited to board and explore all of the incredible attractions. We’ll look at the North Star, the SeaPlex (including the amazing dodgem cars), plus the elegant Royal Promenade.
This cruise was a chartered music cruise, put together by the amazing people at Choose Your Cruise. A combined Rock the Boat and Cruising Country line up meant that this 7 night cruise to the South Pacific was essentially one giant music festival at sea. With a lineup of incredible artists including headliner Suzi Quatro and Lee Kernaghan, the cruise was one for the record books!
Royal Caribbean specialty dining venue, Chops Grille, makes an appearance with one of the biggest meals I’ve eaten…ever! Plus we enjoyed some much needed rest and relaxation time in the stunning adults only Solarium.
One of the undeniable highlights of this cruise however, was when Ovation of the Seas sailed through the spectacular Havannah-Boulari Passage. Though we were meant to enjoy a port day at Mystery Island, the stop was swapped with the scenic cruising experience and although some were disappointed with the change, the majority enjoyed the sights of the passing islands and tropical beaches. I first sailed through the Havannah-Boulari Passage at age 11 onboard P&O Australia’s Fair Princess (quite a different experience) so I was excited to finally get back there after more than 20 years!
Make sure you subscribe to watch Part 2, plus I’ll have lots more Ovation of the Seas content coming soon.
    Thanks for watching!
