What I've learned watching many documentaries and true crime cases is that the ones that are the loudest "moralists" are almost always the biggest monsters and creeps. 99% of the guys in the comments who are crucifying him probably have extremely disturbing things on their computers and are doing all sorts of disgusting things to the innocent ones. And if you want a GOOD, QUALIFIED attorney (to fight against prison time, or---in my case---present an estate issue, correctly) you're gonna pay a lot of money. And Kevin had to pay several attorneys; since 2018.

I believe over 50 people have accused him of various inappropriate sexual advances that typically involved groping and grabbing their private areas. And when it happened in the workplace, it put the employee in a bad situation, fearing if they speak up, it will cost them their job. So this was a self-made downfall. I don't want people to suffer. BUT ....I'm actually broke. I'm homeless..... I don't do drugs or drink..... AT ALL. I've never been accused of inappropriate behavior with people or children. Ever .....
Idk his guil or not .... I just can't feel any empathy for actors... Especially 1 of high profile and success.... Not cuz the accusations. .. the fact being a very successful actor for 25 + yrs .....the millions made...on top of many free travel and materials as promotion that ACTORS get ...... .. idc how broke he thinks he is .... Making 20+ million. Even 12 million in ur life. ....there is absolutely no excuse for being broke. EVER. Ever ever.

I had an old friend who got a small part in his movie Recount and told me Spacey was incredibly weird and inappropriate with him while they were filming his scene- this was long before his sexual orientation was revealed and any accusations were public information so I said something dumb like "woah haha that's so weird."
I completely forgot about it until the story broke about all the men coming forward 10 years later and thought ooh dang this is what he was saying. He kind of said like it was something funny even though it was not, probably to undercut the weirdness he felt since talking about this stuff wasn't a thing in 2008, so I kind of just responded like it was something to laugh about. I feel bad I didn't realize what he was saying when he said it.
Can you tell us what you realized he was saying? Was it like "weird, this guy is hitting on me" or "This guy is sexually harassing me?" Be specific about what he did to your friend, was it illegal? Using a simple "weird" to try sway people to think he did something illegal is very irresponsible. If he did something illegal to your friend, make a specific claim!

I don't give a shadow of a shit what he was accused (and legally exonerated) of doing, this man is a GREAT ACTOR and deserves to have his career resurrected. Metoo is a modern revival of the same primitive human stupidity that resulted in the Salem witch trials. Destroying people's lives over unsubstantiated accusations is spectacularly wrong and immoral. The notion that everyone is innocent until proven guilty is a foundational feature of modern civilization and should be respected without question.
