- Tony (Larry Hagman) is over the moon when Roger (Bill Daily) tells him Jeannie (Barbara Eden) is pregnant, but has he got the right end of the stick?
From Season 5 Episode 18 'Mrs. Djinn Djinn': Due to a silly misunderstanding, Roger tells everyone that Jeannie is expecting a child. However, it is actually Jeannie's dog, Mrs. Djinn Djinn, who is about to deliver puppies.

Such a shame we never got to see Jeannie and Tony raising children and Tony trying to hide their powers from everyone think that would have been fun to explore
That probably would have been woven into the storyline for a sixth season..... *HAD* the series continued.

I felt bad for Tony he really thought Jeannie was pregnant he got flowers for her and everything for her made sure she was alright. Even though that didn’t happen in the show he would of been a great dad.
I feel sorry for Tony too but I doubt he would've made a great father since on the show, Larry Hagman didn't portray a father figure very well at all in all the episodes with children in them.

Tony wanted kids, and I think we saw enough to think he'd probably be a good, hands-on Dad.

Couldn’t even say the word pregnant on TV then. I thought Jeannie was supposed to loose her powers after marrying a mortal. Oh, well. Would have loved to have seen them raiding their son, too.
