Fun fact: the person who voices the operation monologue of this coaster is Nick Pantalone. The same person who voiced the operation monologue of Great Bear, Wild Mouse, the now defunct Wildcat, and the brand new Wildcat's Revenge. He is truly a "Hersheypark Enthusiast" and will be missed.🍫🌹
I liked Thunder a touch more than Lightning... found the laterals to be a bit stronger. They are a bit rougher, and I think Comet was the better wooden experience in the park. Still a fun ride, but definitely suffers from being in a park with a great lineup.
I loved all the low to the ground elements on these coasters. (literally not going to happen, but) RMC needs to fix this. The track profiling is giving a hint of "warped in the dishwasher", and it's not looking good for this ride experience as the years go by. I don't think these restraints are very comfortable IMO, but not horrible, and definitely better than Skyrush LOL.
I've found Lightning Racer has gotten better and worse in the past year. I've found some days where they won't race it due to staffing, but the airtime up front seems punchier than I ever remember it being.

this coaster I got no airtime and thought it was just okay, I rode on thunder in the back row because lightening wasn't operating the day i went
glad im not the only one who thought this ride is kind of rough
