  • We went on a day trip to Blue Hole Regional Park in Wimberley, Texas. The 126 acre park has hiking trails, a swimming hole, playground, sport courts, fields, and picnic areas. The swimming area is clear and pristine. The water has a bright blue reflection when you stand back and look at it. It was a fun trip, and I'm sure we'll visit the park again. One of the highlights of the trip was seeing Texas Wildflowers in full bloom. If you visit the park to swim, reservations are required, so plan ahead and check the availability. The swimming hole was the only area of the park that required admission fees. (Note: We visited the park in May of 2021. Please check the parks website for current information)
