I really do appreciate the attention to details you put into this production. As a fisherman who is just started fishing the Housatonic, I'm really getting a lot out of this. I'm also working on here where I fish in the North East, and I learned a lot from this. I can see this series going to Netflix or something. The North East really needed this representation. I plan to watch them all :D
Just moved to Stratford close to the river, Ive been enjoying my time out there on my boat and kayak. Fishing was great last fall, Im eager to get started exploring up river this season. Sweet skiff! Ive done a ton of shallow water fishing on my friends Ankona, I was in disbelief on how shallow striped bass would be at low in NJ.
Boston area boy (now old man). I have become addicted to October, November and December fishing (as well as all the usual months). I love all kinds of fishing and love to do it all. In those months above, I hit the fly (and spincast) - nothing quite like steel chrome! Steelhead are a one of a kind for sportfishing. Lake Ontario tribs can be had in 4 hours time and Lake Erie tribs in 8. NY and PA fisheries are outstanding with both native and stocked Steelhead, Salmon, coho and world class browns. The stocking programs in NY and PA are outstanding (they put New England programs to shame, frankly). Fall and winter stocked trout are good in some spots in NE so the streams are cooking in the fall in the right places. Just need to know where to go. Go go go
up above there on the Naugatuck river Union Carbide has a plant. In the 1970's the Naugatuck was fluorescent green. Outflow pipes pouring right into the river. Those were wonderful years...
I love the videos! Production quality is top notch. If I may add my 2 cents.....The music could be a little less depressing. Keep up the good work guys!
I fish the Housy for many species from both boat and land, but I fish the freshwater stretch in Massachusetts so I don’t know if you are looking for that or not.
Not at all. The hold overs are young stripers. They don’t go south until they get a certain size. All this is published by the fish and game and is online.
You know the show's got great production value and that's a nice piece of music that you're using but you've only used that piece of music and 20 seconds of it at most it's making for a very boring Fishing Show and that's saying something fishing shows can be pretty boring this one doesn't have to be it's a very easy fix

I think because they are Hybrid striped bass thats why they dont migrate south. The broken lines on the side of the fish means they are Hybrids
