Hello from America! This dance was truly a wonder! Everyone performed themselves so well I couldn't help wanting to clap along! Bravo to these performers!
This is one of the greatest traditional dances I have seen. I normally don't sit through an entire dance video of this length, but this is an exception. There's so much energy in the music and in the dance moves. Someone commented that the youngsters seem proud and like they are having fun with this dance. I honestly would to, if I could dance like that. This is amazing!
My compliments to these young ladies and gentlemen who through their beautiful and entertaining dance proudly represent their culture. Well done and thank you all.
I've never seen anything remotely like this. They seem to embody European, Middle Eastern, Central and East Asian cultures--completely unique and beautiful. I'd rather watch this than any celebrities I can think of.
@@michelleg7 I went and looked it up. The Ubykh are one of several Muslim Circassian tribes who live around the eastern shores of the Black Sea, which is today part of Georgia. There's an article on Wikipedia. Part of the region is currently a disputed/war zone (I'm not going to get into it, but "Abkhazia" should ring a bell).
That's because this culture evolved at the geographic intersection between all those cultures you mentioned. The Ubykh people were nomadic, and so likely brought together many different cultural influences to create this wonderful uniqueness.
@@shonazef7351 That dance would be entirely haram and is not Islamic at all. There is gender mixing, and there are haram muscial instruments. Real Islam IS ISIS. If you don't know that, it's because you haven't read the Islamic sources. Muhammad himself was a serial rapist, and according to the cultural standards of the pagans and Christians, a pedophile, and according to ALL the people of the time, he committed incest with his daughter-in-law. He also called for the assassination of many people who insulted him. This dance style is similar to many Slavic dances. If they are Muslim, they are bad Muslims, and the dance survived their corrupted version of Islam--to their benefit.
That was awesome to watch. Keep your culture alive, it’s beautiful. I’m Native American, and we have dances which we call Pow Wows. It makes me proud to watch my people still doing these dances, and all age groups participate in them.
Good place for your particular comments. Circassians suffered one of the worst genocides of the 19th century. There's some shared experiences between their history and numerous indigenous American cultures. Russia is the last old fashioned European empire who has not yet come to recognize the sins of the past.

Ok so after initially watching this video a few months ago, I wanted to see more. So I looked up Circassian dancing and found lots of Russian television programs with professional adult dancers etc. It was good, but nothing has captured my attention the way these children did. Is there a choreography who worked with these kids? This particular dance seems to be original. I found very similar stuff on this Russian language TV program, and on TV the dancers were adult professionals. But there is nothing that can compete with what you guys have here. Whoever is teaching your kids and choreographing the dancing is very gifted. Your children are also very gifted. After watching this video for the first time I went in search of everything I could find about this amazing music and the dance that accompanies it, and I learned that there was a Circassian genocide?!?! OMG. I'm ashamed I didn't know about this and I was utterly and completely dismayed to learn that anyone would want to cause harm to such an extraordinary people. No one should want to harm anyone, but to imagine anyone intentionally hurting your people broke my heart. Hello from America! This dance was truly a wonder! Everyone performed themselves so well I couldn't help wanting to clap along! Bravo to these performers!
What a beautiful dance !. Both the fashion and moves look very elegant and fun. I love it. Best wish from an Indonesian.
Georgians dance similarly
@@michelleg7 I went and looked it up. The Ubykh are one of several Muslim Circassian tribes who live around the eastern shores of the Black Sea, which is today part of Georgia. There's an article on Wikipedia. Part of the region is currently a disputed/war zone (I'm not going to get into it, but "Abkhazia" should ring a bell).
That's because this culture evolved at the geographic intersection between all those cultures you mentioned. The Ubykh people were nomadic, and so likely brought together many different cultural influences to create this wonderful uniqueness.
You can also hear at times vocal intonations reminiscent of the ones associated with Native Indians of North America.
@@remasterus that's cool. thanks.

Good place for your particular comments. Circassians suffered one of the worst genocides of the 19th century. There's some shared experiences between their history and numerous indigenous American cultures.
Russia is the last old fashioned European empire who has not yet come to recognize the sins of the past.

In my country, the USA,it seems the more vulgar the dance, the more popular it is.
The dance in this video was so modest.
The young men danced with manly presence, and the young ladies danced with such feminine quality.
Its no wonder why the Circassians are called the most beautiful people in the world.
Thank you for such kind words addressed to our people. May God strengthen your pure thoughts and may you be in good health.
I know what you mean. It's so sweet and refreshing to see modesty. All of these young people are so beautiful. The dance is amazing.
I'm from America and woe! You made all of America look bad when we do have our traditions and our own culture. We're also a nation of many different ethnicities who migrated here from other countries, and they brought their culture dance and music here. And we have our I own America culture. If you saw vulgar dancing, that's just people dancing for fun to good dance music. People are having fun dancing in nightclubs to great dance. Who does vulgar dancing, and what kind of vulgar dancing? Maybe you saw it in strip clubs, lol
Isn’t there line dancing in America. That’s quite modest and fun. It’s popular here in Scotland as a means of keep fit. Less dangerous than a Ceilidh.

Спасибо за хороший отзыв, долгих вам лет. Приятно, что кому-то интересен не только танец, но и то, с чем он связан. Увы, убыхи перестали существовать, когда последний убых умер в Турции в 1971 году.
If your cultural artforms are this extraordinary, I can't imagine what the rest of your culture must be like.
You have something very special here. Thanks for sharing it with us.
