the thing i love about xg is even when the camera isn't on them, you can see each member is still serving face and giving 100% and singing along, it makes the whole performance seem so engaging and you can just tell they're having so much fun on stage
I love how the producers are referencing what are popular in y2k japanese culture, i instantly notice how those color sets they have are like the ‘kawaii’ type of anime back then, hello kitty-inspired stuffs like that and i agree with that ‘i love it when a group consisting younger members does a age-appropriately concept’ so far NewJeans and IVE are the only ones that constantly doing concepts that are suitable to their members’ average age, i hope XG can continue like this they suit this more ngl

And it's very limited, because they basically only sell from their official store (and i think weverse now as well?) and it sells out FAST. I've been following XG since Tippy Toes, but Im became a fan on this comeback. The pre-chrorus on this song absolutely HEAVEN LIKE. On previous song, i just only notice Rap line. But this one, is perfectly balance between rap and vocal.

I have earlier said that XG is my fav girl group, ever since their debut last year. I loved Tippy Toes and am so glad that they are getting the recognition and appreciation that they absolutely deserve to quote Jackson Wang, another fantastic artist said "XG is the future" The sky is the limit for them

@@maxwelltyler22 That seems like a stretch, but if true I don't really have issues with 17 yr olds and older singing about anything they want, as long as they're ok with it. It's not like NewJeans, where I can't even enjoy their music because I'm so weirded out they let a 14 yr old sing Cookie. I would even say if it was abundantly clear a very young girl wrote those lyrics here in the U.S. and it was 100% her choice to sing it, there might be a way to do it without exploiting her, but I don't have much faith in the music industry to handle something like that appropriately.

What XG does is always a challenge. They've released 4 songs since their debut, but all of them are distinctive, and you can see that they're all completely different concepts. Every time I hear their new song for the first time, I've been disappointed in a good way. At this point, I think XG and its creators probably don't care about how many views their music videos get or how many songs they sell.

I would even say if it was abundantly clear a very young girl wrote those lyrics here in the U.S. and it was 100% her choice to sing it, there might be a way to do it without exploiting her, but I don't have much faith in the music industry to handle something like that appropriately.

What XG does is always a challenge.
They've released 4 songs since their debut, but all of them are distinctive, and you can see that they're all completely different concepts.
Every time I hear their new song for the first time, I've been disappointed in a good way.
At this point, I think XG and its creators probably don't care about how many views their music videos get or how many songs they sell.
XG is truly next level. Their versatility is MIND-BOGGLING.🤯

Probably another thing why they are western influenced is because their producer Simon Jakops, who used to be a Kpop idol himself, is a Japanese who grew up in the US. Simon himself is hiphop-rnb influenced. He's a composer.
